welcome back
Meh. American ‘comedians’ - bring on some people with class…
Who in gods name was making that noise 😳
hooray you're finally back!!!!!!
Fuck off with the over 50 crap. You go on about racism, fair enough, but there is also ageism you are ageist. I thought today we are supose to be accepting of all...so stop dissing people that just happen to be born earlier than you.
this podcast has a great host and awesome concept, but it's ruined by some awful guests.
Some thing are grey, not everything has to be black or white...
Interesting, Emmeline gets voted evil, though her wrongdoings are less than some males who got voted genius. Women voting other women more harshly.
shitting on Tupac. not good
I'll give It a few more episodes but it's starting to get repetitive. nothing is controversial because the participants are too scared to have an opinion that may get them labelled. did vicious a genius your having a fucking laugh and he led to stand up comedy? wtf? wasn't there stand up comedy before punk? errr yes just not the bland PC don't offend anyone for fear of being cancelled stuff around today.
Really really good episode. Both Romesh and James made such good contributions and were the perfect comedians for this episodes IMO, although a black comedian who is into Hip Hop and grew up in the 90s would have been great, too.
I found Omar's inputs really jarring and useless. The Irish woman was also being silly. Sindhu though was a great panellist and I thought she gave a balanced view on Ghandi. Russell was good too.
Not sure you've all realised that this not a serious discussion or that it has no real-world ramifications? Or did the angry types just get to an episode about someone they love and are now outraged? It's entertaining, it could possibly educate you about facets that you never knew, and it might wind you up if you disagree. Taking the "typical Marxist leftist LGBTist BBCist nonsense" angle makes people seem a little snowflakey and precious. Personally, I find it to be an enjoyable listen. I have agreed with conclusions, I have disagreed with conclusions. Everyone will.
can't listen keeps saying it's corrupt and won'tplay. Had to use a different streaming service to listen
Yo the audio mix here is FUBAR! Russell and John Richardson are only coming out of 1 speaker, and sound really tinny distant, and the other 2 are on the other speaker and are super bassy
How could one of my fav pods release this with only the host audible ?
in this cancel culture this podcast is class..nice1 Russell
I noticed that alot of the time a person can be deemed evil when that part of them is less so than a previous person. For example Rohl Dahl was voted evil because he made his daughter complicit in his affair but Richard pryor can get away with beating his wife, having affairs and exposing his daughter to drug dealers yet is voted a genius if this is based as they say with no grey area that by what metric are they measuring.
Absolutely love Evil, Genius never fails to make me laugh and they're always interesting! It seems not everyone understands the point of the podcast and that's their loss, I've listened to every episode - Keep them coming Russell, people always have to complain about something
Gee did he grow up in council flats? I mean he never talks about it.
