For most people, tracking food intake isn't enough.  Most people have a skewed sense of how many calories they are actually consuming.  But, is it really necessary for all of us to be tracking calories?   Also, before I get into the topic, I wanted to announce a free program that I have released called Evolved Athletix Prime V1.0.   It's a 4 week, full body, strength training program that auto adjusts to how you rate your workouts.  There are more features in the works, but I wanted to release the barebones version first so people could try it out. It's basic physiology...lol, I talk a little bit about my interaction with someone from LinkedIn regarding strength training and bone health.  To this person defense though, physiology isn't their field and isn't something that is discussed often.  After that, I talk about two resources that outline a little more information regarding bone health and strength training.  This is by no means and all inclusive look at sleep and sleep deprivation, but I think I have a unique perspective on the topic.  Well kind of.  In any case, I wanted to share some of the important points regarding sleep, sleep deprivation, and why it's important to make sure you are getting proper sleep, as well as developing appropriate sleep hygiene. This is another one of those topics that comes up frequently and I just don't believe it gets discussed enough.  So it tends to be something that people will think about while they are dieting and adds to the frustration when they can't figure out what's going on when they stop losing weight.
