AA speaker Dr. Mike's Experience the Big Book is an AA Big Book study podcast helping alcoholics learn how to apply the 12 steps to their recovery program. The first 164 pages of the book are looked at and discussed in detail, line-by-line, so we fully understand what is meant in each step and how to take action to further our recovery. Fred’s story is the final example that we have no defense against the first drink. Will power, self knowledge, a perfect day, nothing stopped Fred from taking the first drink. Every time I read this story I see more truth!
