To start of the series, Pursuit to Purity, I first wanted to look at purifying our eyes. A deeper relationship with Christ is what we all seek and when we start purifying our life, we are able to breakaway from what is standing in our way. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 NIV “Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

If you are feeling distant from God, this podcast episode is for you! Within this times, there can be a lot of discouragement and defeat, but it does not have to be that way. Harrison comes back with me to finish our two-part Pre-dating series! We talk about characteristics that are super important to look for, when potentially looking for someone to date. Body positivity is a topic I am new to, but I cannot say I have ever been more excited to upload an episode! Within this episode, I share my story of struggle with body image and give a look into my new way of seeing myself. My goal is to relate to those who feel the same way as I did and provide them with an alternative way of thinking and hope! God made you beautiful- just the way you are! Stuck in the trap of comparing yourself to others? Catching yourself discouraged by a fear of missing out? Well, there is freedom available to you! Within this episode, we see different patterns of envy and ways the devil likes to trick us into buying into this life that God does not want for us, all starting in Genesis 4. We are promised freedom through Christ! I hope and pray that is episode speaks truth into your soul and encourages you to allow God to transform your heart! Take some of the firstfruits of all that you produce from the soil of the land the Lord your God is giving you and put them in a basket. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. Psalms 139:14

Harrison joins me again to talk about relationships, but this time, we are pressing rewind. This podcast episode includes advice on what you should do or look before you get into a relationship! Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. This episode lays out three lies that the devil tries to sell us in times of struggle with sin. We are in luck! God’s Word not only gives us truth to combat the lies, but fills us with hope to move forward! I hope this episode fills you will the hope of Our Redeemer. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Galatians 5:16

As a child of God, fear is a common tactic that the devil uses to trip us up. Now, it is time for us to fight back! This new podcast discusses 3 ways to break that cycle of fear and leave us with a peaceful mind and trust in our Redeemer! "Then Jesus said to him, "Be gone, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord you God and Him only shall you serve." Matthew 4:10 "Peace is what I leave with you; it is My own peace I give to you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid." John 14:27 "Whatever you ask in My Name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the son." John 14:13

Grief is an experience we all go through and it never feels good. That is, if we are looking for comfort and fulfillment in places that will not satisfy. This episode takes us into our times of grief and shows what we can discover, if we just turn our "Eyes to the Redeemer"! "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5:4 NIV "You will keep in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in You." Grasping that God's Will is much better than our will can be hard to process, but it could not be more true! As brothers and sisters in Christ, we are all in the same boat here! Go forth and pursue the will of God, because God plans to prosper us greatly! "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them." 1 John 2:15 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33

Overthinking: Seeking answers in all of the wrong places! We have all been there! We have freedom in know and embracing that we have someone that can provide all of the answers and his name is Jesus! "You're blessed when you're content with who you are -- no more, no less. That's the moment you fin yourselves proud owners of everything that can't be bought." Matthew 5:5 MSG
