Hi everyone, we hope you are hanging in there and are wishing all of you well. We recorded this episode before the pandemic became prevalent here in the U.S. and many of us went indoors and apart from one another (this was recorded in a blanket fort in Flo's living room! Think of it!) so just to recognize here that everything is strange and uncertain and we are thinking of all of you. In this episode we discuss human pool tables, Russian ice slides, the Blow Hole Theatre and Jane Austen vs. Brontes (thank goodness we have Austen AND the Brontes and don't actually have to choose though).

I adore this episode!! The only part that really upset me was of course the poor/terrible/cruel treatment of women over time and to this very day while they are menstruating!. That being said...we all had silly names to call period time. Some of the names mentioned in this episode were Epic and hilarious... I'm soo going to check out the museum of menstruation!!!. My daughter recently mentioned to me that she and her friends call their period their "dot"...which I thought was pretty cute lol... Oh and I just got another idea for a multi topic show.... I'm going to message you Flo on IG😄🖤😍

Omg!! That's mind blowing!! Lol. when I was young, I loved to help make salt water taffy....and one of the ingredients was molasses....... I Loved and still Love that smell 😍!!!!! However it would have been awful to be flooded by it...those poor animals and people!!
