In John 11, before Jesus relieves Mary and Martha’s pain, He enters into their pain. We can learn so much from Jesus’ example. Instead of running away from those who are hurting, we should run to them and seek to practice the ministry of just being with them in their time of pain/suffering/loss.
What do we do when we pray, read our Bible, and do everything we know to do, but Jesus delays? How do we respond to God’s seeming silence in our life? In John 11, we are given insight into God’s perspective on life and death.
