Derek Stein and his wife Cindy run the Coxhill herd of Beef Shorthorn cattle based at Coxhill Farm, Moffat. Michael Cursiter farms the family farm at Laga Farm on Mainland Orkney. There they run a flock of pure lleyn ewes and also a flock of romney x and pure shetland ewes. He farms along with is wife Ruth, son Sean and brother Martin. This week Colin and Issy Laird join us for a walk round Blyth Farm near Peebles. There they milk over 500 holstein cows on Lely robots as well as a handful of Jersey cows. Adam Sinclair is a Stirling lad who used his genetic gifts of size and strength to make it big on the rugby pitch. Niall Jeffry is a member of the QMS board and has an active role in steering the direction of the Farm Assurance scheme.
