A report entitled ‘Avoiding a Trap and Embracing the Megatrends: Proposals for a New Growth Model in EU-CEE’ was published in 2021 by the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies and was commissioned and funded by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung.But what exactly are these megatrends and what kind of policies should we expect to foster sustainable growth in Central and Eastern Europe?
