In this episode, the FM3 decided to field some more listener voicemails since it's been a crazy week. The crew kinda loses their shit in this episode and they hope you are along for the ride. Sometimes your past selves can bring happiness to the present. What better time to laugh and be happy then right now when those things are sometimes few and far between. Jef, Josh and Brian hope you are having a wonderful week and remember going into the holidays please support local shops, small businesses and always, always the underdog. Forever Midnight is forever thankful for all of you wonderful listeners and the wonderful patrons over on Patreon. Enjoy your weekend and the guys we will be back next week with a new episode talking about horror!
It's that time of year when most folks are diving into a pile of mash potatoes but Jef, Josh and Brian figured they were ready to dive into Eli Roth's 2023 film "Thanksgiving"! Yup, finally a proper Thanksgiving themed horror film with all the fixings plus room for dessert or as they say in Hollywood a "sequel". This episode starts out strong with some killer smells and then finally onto the main course. Jump to the 19:00 minute mark if you wanna skip right to the meat and cranberry sauce of the episode. The crew hopes you enjoy this episode and that you all stay safe and happy over this next holiday week. We are so thankful for all our listeners, our wonderful Patrons on Patreon and of course our Sponsors. Be sure to support them as you head into gift giving season!
It's Gnarvember folks! The time of year that Jef, Josh and Brian celebrate horror movies that feature Heavy Metal and or hard rock bands! This time around the FM3 check out 1987's "Slaughterhouse Rock" starring the one and only Toni Basil! This flick interested our brave heroes because it takes place in SF and on Alcatraz. So of course the guys wanted to dip in and see what hard rock delights awaited them. If you have not seen this one and want to play along you can stream "Slaughterhouse Rock" on Prime Video and ScreamBox. Enjoy!
In this episode, the FM3 decided to check in on the listener voicemails that have been piling up. Once again, Jef, Josh and Brian had a great time listening to some messages and rambling about this and that. They had high hopes that they would tackle a bunch of messages but time flies because it is fake and before they knew it, the episode had to end. So the boys will be doing more of these in the future, so be sure to call and leave a message on the FM hotline at 707-327-2984! Forever Midnight will be back next week with another movie review episode!
It's Halloween and your friends at Forever Midnight have some treats for ya! This year the crew chose at Jef's suggestion the made for TV movie from 1985 "The Midnight Hour"! There is a very good chance lots of you folks know this one and maybe even saw it when it aired way back when. It is chock full of all kinds of now known folks and some now unknown folks that were more well known in the 70's and 80's hahah even Dom DeLuise's little shit of a kid is stinking this one up. If you have not seen this one it's up on Youtube and you can even get DVD's of it! It has lots of Halloween vibes so it's a good one to play on All Hallow's Eve! Josh, Jef and Brian get into a lengthy discussion about candy and snack perfectly on theme for the holiday but if you wanna go straight to the movie talk, start around the 17 minute mark. For you Forever Midnight Fiends the crew also just dropped a brand new Halloween episode on Patreon talking about Haunt from 2019!! So get your candy sack filled with some FM goodies! Have a safe and Happy Halloween!
In this episode it was Jef's turn to pick a movie for the crew to watch and chat about, Brian and Josh figured after their stinky picks recently Jef was going to elevate the situation and pick a good movie. Well Jef decided it was only fair to stoop to their level and dig into the dumpster for a nice ripe one. Of course he would never just do any old thing, he will always make sure there are at the very least good actors attached to his pick. He was not wrong, he chose 1995's "Hideaway" starring Jeff Goldblum, Alicia Silverstone, Jeremy Sisto, Rae Dawn Chong and Alfred Molina! A whole stack of somebodies! Alas even with all that star power, Hideaway might be best appreciated by those that saw it when it came out, or who knows maybe it is your future favorite movie? Either way The FM3 dig into it and come out the other side forever touched by Heaven and Hell, and revived and ready for the next episode. So win win? Enjoy!
In this episode it was Josh's turn to pick a movie for the guys to watch and chat about. He got so excited that he completely forgot about the ban on Charles Band movies that the FM3 made a blood oath on just mere episodes ago. But instead of choosing something else Brian, Jef and Josh dive dick first into the deep dark dumpster that holds The Charles Band Archives and resurfaced with "The Dungeonmaster" from 1984. Listeners you too can play at home in the Chuck Band Dumpster and watch Richard Moll and the Fondacaro brothers get horribly underused and at the same time see some of John Carl Buechler's Troll and Ghoulies puppet rejects, and really what more could you ask from a "horror" movie?
In this episode, the reigns are given to Brian to steer the guys at a flick to chat about. After very very little thought he decided to finally unleash the surreal nightmare that is the one and only "Skinned Deep" starring Warwick Davis!! Knowing full well that Jef and Josh would hate this movie, he waited until the perfect moment, and that perfect moment is now and why is the perfect moment now you might ask? The answer is that it was the first movie to pop into his little pea brain and now everyone gets to experience this wild ass movie. He says, you are welcome! Now enjoy the show!
In this episode the FM3 pay respects to the one and only lying ass Warren's with a little chat about the newest installment in the Conjuring universe "Last Rites". It's that time of year again when Brian and Josh can't remember if it is a Conjuring movie or a Insidious movie and tbh do they even care? At this point, our brave heroes feel like they are living in a groundhog's day of endless ghost cliches with no end in sight. Luckily this is the last one...right?
In this episode one of the FM3's Patreon Top Dawgs picked a movie that the guys were very skeptical about and never imagined watching it. Having heard the name and seen the VHS artwork Jef, Josh and Brian could only imagine that this flick was nothing more than a janky music video for Boris Pickett & The Crypt Kicker 5's punishing jam "The Monster Mash". Thank goodness it wasn't and because It is actually a pretty fun horror anthology with some cool musical numbers. Plus you get a monster sized dose of Vincent Price and John Carradine as the book ends of each of the stories and boy oh boy they are hamming it up and down. The best part is that Boris Pickett was nowhere to be found and for the Forever Midnight boys that meant this flick might not stink to high heavens like the Wolfman's nards or the Crypt Kickers crypt knickers.
In this episode, one of the Forever Midnight's Patreon Top Dawgs picked a movie for the FM3 to chat about and even sent a gift across the pond. Mysteriously, this gift just happened to arrive the very day the guys were sitting down to record his special episode!! Some might call that a coincidence, but Jef, Josh and Brian call it a coinkydink or more possibly good old fashioned stalking…hmmm? How did he know when the guys were recording? How did he know they like gifts? How did he know where to send them gifts? Do you know where to send them gifts? Well, regardless of the impending restraining order against the crew's favorite Brit-Ish Cabbie, the guys got to check off their watch list for another teen slasher flick from the 80's! The one and only Slaughter High!! So grab a seat, cause this is a fun episode. Remember folks that if you prank, torture and disfigure a person, they will probably totally forgive and forget and you will get to live a long guilt free life! Just remember to always yell "April Fool's Day!" so you can't get in trouble!! Hooray!!
This Salem's Lot episode is actually one of our exclusive Patreon episodes, but since we were unable to record a new episode this past week, We are letting you all take a peek under the cape to check out the goods we offer to our wonderful Patrons over at Patreon.com/forevermidnight. We have 90 exclusive episodes available to check out starting at the $5 level and other content as well! This episode was originally uploaded to our Patreon feed in June of 2021, we hope you enjoy us talking about this classic vampire TV mini-series adapted from a story by Stephen King and directed by the one and only Tobe Hooper! We will be back next week with a brand new episode ready to delight your earholes! Peace, Love and Scary movies!
In this episode, the FM3 get to check out the much anticipated and mysterious horror flick "Weapons" by the director of 2022's "Barbarian", Mr. Zach Cregger. The boys were excited by how little they all collectively knew about this one, but the small teasers had them baited and ready to run (hands down) to the theater as soon as they could! As usual, spoilers lie ahead folks. Jef, Josh and Brian highly recommend you check out this one with your creepy Aunt while it's still on the big screen! Enjoy!
In this week's episode, Jef, Josh and Brian are so happy to be back at the movie theater watching a brand new horror flick! The FM3 sit down for Michael Shanks "Together" starring Alison Brie and her real life husband Dave Franco. Hopes were high and little was known about this project for The Forever Midnight Crew. The convo after viewing got a little hot in a few spots, tempers were raging and the lack of dong shots dominated some of the chat but that's how it goes when talking about Body Horror in a post The Substance world. (There was an audio issue in this ep with one of the mics, apologies). Thank you for listening!
In this episode the FM3 tackle another Top Dawg Patreon Flick!! The guys find themselves court-side with a little known 90's gem called "The Catcher". Jef, Josh and Brian were hoping for a World Cup worthy slasher, but at the end of the quarter there was no such luck and instead The Forever Midnight Crew felt more like Joe Estevez's head after getting bonked with a baseball bat!! GOAL!!! You too can feel the bonk of "The Catcher" streaming for free on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/RLyg6NLOwQc?si=SpbwdizS7gDVhNuo
This week, Jef has chosen one of his late-aughts faves: 2008's 'The Ruins'. Brian comes to terms with the fact that he requires his horror villains to have a face - preferably one made of rubber - and Josh is again frustrated with Jef's determination to bring actual good movies to the dinner table. Because he prefers the taste of crap. Although the social media video sensation known as 'Vines' wouldn't take off until five years later, this white-privilege, vacation-friends, major-label body-horror gem features vines front and center, atop a pyramid! And while this same year, M. Night's 'The Happening' would feature the fjärts of the plant world, 'The Ruins' focuses more on the teeth, the viscera, the mimicry and the invasion! Plug in your green thumb and enjoy!
In this episode, Jef, Josh and Brian are treated to another Top Dawg Patreon Pick! This time around the FM3 get wet ankles in an abandoned, rusty ex military installation in Japan that houses some sinister secrets. That's right, The FM3 are checking out "Evil Dead Trap" from 1988!! This flick's name alone is enough to get you to watch it, but for whatever reason the Forever Midnight crew had never checked it. Thankfully the crew has some truly wonderful Patrons over on Patreon that throw them some picks out of left field and for that the guys at FM salute you! You too can join the fun by streaming "Evil Dead Trap" now on Plex, Screambox, Prime Video, AMC+ and Fandor!
In this episode, Brian thought it would be fun to hike out into the wilderness for some summer slasher action and picked "The Prey" from 1983. Slashering was slightly highlighted in this budget flick but not as much as all the crazy critters thrown in to pad the run time. This movie is part Temu Friday the 13th, part Mutual Of Omaha's Wild Kingdom with just a tiny sprinkle of the Addams Family. The perfect recipe to leave you plopped down criss cross applesauce right in the campfire! Streaming now on TUBI!!
In this episode the FM3 head to Texarkana to watch and chat about 2014's "The Town That Dreaded Sundown". This flick was served up by one of Forever Midnight's beloved Top Dawg Patrons over on Patreon. Thankfully they were forced to check it out which was just the push they needed! Jef, Josh and Brian had half expected another Scream rip-off, so they had somewhat avoided it for years but were all curious about this requel and the real life murders that inspired the original in 1976. So prepare yourself to be transported to a land beyond time, a land of moonlight murders and trombones that have the taste for human blood!! Join us over on Patreon at Patreon.com/forevermidnight for over 80 exclusive episodes!
In this episode Jef, Josh and Brian do the unthinkable, the unfathomable...they decided to watch another Dracula movie! Yes, you read that correctly and yes, right after just tackling Full Moon's Subspecies on their Patreon!!! This time around these brave podcasters dipped into the drug blood and finally watched Frank Langella's Dracula from 1979. The FM3 have long been curious about the fabled "Disco Dracula" only to learn the cold hard undead truth. So grab your garlic and find a nice comfy seat as Forever Midnight dig into what some say is maybe the most seductive, charming and sinister Count Dracula.

Possibly the stupidest conversation by retarded leftists yet. You can't see the forest through the trees. Truly pathetic on every level. Harper is not only responsible for her husband's death, she also murders several of the men from the countryside. Yet, you fail to see the reality because you're only capable of seeing it through your leftist lens and defective logic.
