It's the first quick turn around of the 2021/22 Premier League season so don't get done by the Tuesday evening deadline!Wicks and Charles discuss their disappointments and successes from Gameweek 13 and how the postponed match at Turf Moor makes Conte's men even more attractive.
Is it ever too late to jump on a player whose price is soaring with each week? That's a question Wicks and Charles mull over as they celebrate last week's return of the Premier League. Both managers make transfers but surprisingly neither for the injured players in their squad. Take a listen before locking in for Game Week 13.
Premier League football is back, as are Wicks and Charles discussing what you have most likely been thinking and no doubt a little bit extra too.Sitting on £5m won't stop Charles sniffing around for a bargain, and asks who's buying Aubameyang? Wicks finally rates Emile Smith Rowe but remains for some reason suspicious of his fellow England debutant Conor Gallagher.
A certain fixture at Griffin Park is enough to get all Ivan Toney owners excited again, and has even proven enough for Charles to add another Bee to his trolley. Wicks dramatically announces the latest FPL Chip Chat pint of the month winner. And the duo revel in the Eagles stunning City who now come up against a Ronaldo whose loyal owners were last week rewarded.
As the title suggest Charles feels as though he's turning gold into turd with every transfer. An outstanding top scorer of the week gets the lads extremely animated. And Wicks rocks his suitably smug tone on the back of a few correct predictions.
After a below average gameweek for both lads it is all focus on making amends. Charles Wildcards, Wicks hangs onto Antonio and player prices be moving mad.Hwang is the man but Wicks writes Eduard off already.
Risk-averse Wicks is smashing it but that will not stop him bringing in two lads on everybody's lips right now. Charles on the hand is hoping his somewhat more original line up finally brings home the goods come Gameweek three.
A total of 28 FPL Chip Chat players achieved centurion status on GW1 and the fixtures suggest we could see it repeated this weekend. Wicks is proudly a member of the 100 club and Charles breathes a deep sigh of relief having given in and snapped up Bruno Fernandes in the nick of time.
Transfers, fixtures and opening day clean sheets - Charles and Wicks predict who of FPL's newest toys are worth taking a punt on. The duo compare squads and they are almost definitely not what you'd expect.Warm up and get involved in the debate of what could be YOUR year. Join the @fplchipchat mini league: ikx1uj
The boys dive into the infamous spreadie and chat chips, as Rhys does a major f up!
There's a lot of useful and useless information gathering between the two boys this week. Rhys goes early on transfers, and Wicks bares all with a sneak peek into his football shirt collection.
"Pants" is the word as the boys witness a fairly understated and underwear-centric weekend of footie activity. Villa and Chelsea fail to impress, whilst City sledge past Wolves with Reijnders and his big red nose riding off into the night sky.
It may be a new season, but the traditional banter from our first season still rains down strong. Wicks has overtaken Rhys in real footballing terms, but who will reign victorious for Season 25/26?
Wicks and Wadey recap on not one but two very eventful game weeks and anticipate more of the same from 38.With just two round of matches left, Table Talk starts to get serious and the lads discuss what could be a sensational inaugural FPL Chip Chat awards bash!
Charles was one of 46 FPL Chip Chat players to have been seriously stung by the postponed game at Old Trafford - but by no means the worst. The League's one Wildcard player in GW34 also scored the highest points tally thanks to an inspired captaincy. And the lads appear to have a transfer policy epiphany towards the end of the show to cope with upcoming doubles and blanks.
As the title suggests, England's finest right back returns to the fold - even with Old Trafford up next. Wicks keeps faith in Bamford and Watkins but decides Ruben Dias' days in his team are numbered. Who is in the running for April's pint of the month and how on earth did one FPL Chip Chat player get 75 points without Wood?!
Jesse Lingard continues to lead the headlines but Wicks eyes up his less raved about partner in crime*. The brilliantly entertaining Show Me The Mane manager Adam Jackson tells us how he has trusted Dallas from day dot. And to add yet another blunder to his season of mistakes, Charles weighs up giving on-fire forward Kelechi Iheanacho the armband over the two-game Kane.*Points
Charles joins Wicks in begrudgingly bigging up Jess Lingard after another impressive gameweek but stubbornly still won't bring him in. Wicks chats to FPL Chip Chat high flyer FPL Noble Gent who shares memories of Michu once upon a time doing the business. And choosing a captain looks too close to call for gameweek 31.
