I believe Johnny's parents when they talk about the threats people made against them, being under surveillance while traveling, etc. Unfortunately, I can understand why Paul Bonacci has not been treated as a credible witness, especially after hearing from the doctor who worked with him. The cult ritual abuse she speaks of is from the "Satanic Panic" of the late '70s-'80s, and those claims have long since been discredited. Many people served long and unjust prison sentences and had their lives ruined because of false and often ludicrous accusations made against them. Many children were coerced by their parents and social workers, police, et al. into telling increasingly fantastic and physically impossible stories about what had allegedly been done to them, to the point that they believed it themselves (look up "false memories"). Some are still traumatized, decades later. Sibyl, the woman with "multiple personalities" that the doctor mentioned, was also revealed years ago to have been un

I appreciate this info but I find the pontificating attacks towards 'conspiracy theorists' to be a tad irrational. Hopefully the host will develop an understanding of the complexities of this world and refrain from closing the lid on others who are looking for the truth. the irony is she would be written off as a CT by many people.

This is amazing. You've done a fantastic job on this podcast. I'm only on Johnny Gosch episodes. I've missed a lot in my independent research, and you've filled so much in. I will continue and watch the rest of your podcasts because you are very talented. Thanks for doing these episodes. I will be watching them all! Thanks again for taking the time, and putting the care and effort into each podcast. i also can't believe he would have been 42 at the time of these podcasts. Poor young man!

Hmm. As to the jurisdiction question, and as to why personnel from one department would question Theresa about a disappearance and/or possible crime that allegedly took place in a different jurisdiction: the non jurisdictional department may have possible evidence relating to the event. Maybe a sighting of the, um, guy in question. Maybe stuff that did not end up in the fireplace or in the ex wife's safekeeping.
