Joining us tonight is Daniel Naha‑Ve'evalu, better known as DannyBoy. Raised across from Crocker Amazon Park in San Francisco and later in Millbrae and San Bruno, DannyBoy's journey took him to college in Atlanta before he graduated from USC's School of Cinematic Arts in 2013. He stayed in Los Angeles, serving as Program Coordinator for Empowering Pacific Islander Communities and leading its Pacific Islander Leaders of Tomorrow program, helping uplift Pasifika voices and develop community leaders. In September 2017, he returned to the Bay Area to be with family as his grandmother and mother faced health challenges. Today, he serves as Program Manager for Pasifika Urban Roots under the Samoan Community Development Center, continuing a journey grounded in creativity, service, and fa'aaloalo—honoring his roots and showing up for his community.
