Description
Located just outside of Washington, DC, we are a family of believers who are on mission to boldly show Jesus, to love God, and to love others because God first loved us.
We are a Bible-based, nondenominational church, and our whole heart is focused on helping people connect with God and others.

The Bible’s vision of eternity is not disembodied souls floating away, but resurrection life in God’s new creation. Paul reminds us that our mortal, decaying bodies will be transformed into glorious ones fit for eternity. John gives us the breathtaking picture of the new heaven and new earth, where death, pain, and tears are gone for good. God’s endgame is not escape, but renewal. Our destiny is resurrection life with Jesus, made new in a world made new.

The phrase "Go to heaven" is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible. There are mentions of desiring to go and be with the Lord, but when it comes to heaven, we are mentioned as the ones waiting for its arrival. What if heaven is a place on earth?

Deep down, we all feel the ache of homesickness — a longing for a place we’ve never fully known. The Bible says that’s because we were made for more than this world as it is. Heaven is not just escape, but home: a renewed creation where God lives with His people and every wrong is made right.

Only three questions ultimately matter: Where did we come from? Why are we here? Where are we going? In this series, we’re exploring the Christian answer to the third question. We contend that Jesus has a unique authority to speak with certainty about the here and the hereafter because He conquered death and offers eternal life.
