Fairy Tale Time with Gryphon Corpus

In which effort and fearlessness overcome some gnarly dreads.

In which a girl comes to inhabit an instrument. (The story calls it a fiddle, but clearly that's for Western readers. Based on the image, we think it's a veena.)

In which death doesn't prevent anyone from being alive. (Just for the record, the image is of Maharani Jindan, rebel queen of Jansi, who was a hero of the resistance, not a wicked stepmother. We just liked the picture.)

In which a girl believes what she wants to, but makes a roaring comeback.  Warning: this story is a little violent, though not graphically so.

In which we have all the classic elements of a fairy tale, and a kneading trough.
