In this episode, Megan points out that we were created to stand strong when trials and tribulations come adding that we can’t be like a heartbeat. Up one day and down the next. No!! We go up and hold steady to our hope and faith. We put our armor on and we laugh at the devil. Ha ha ha!! God protects you and shields you in the storm, trial, and tribulation. Megan reminds us that we will walk through that fire and not smell like smoke! You will stand in the rain and not get wet! You will enter the lion’s den and God shuts the lion’s mouth. You can send the devil and his demons on their way with the Word of Faith. Set a guard on your mouth that the only thing that comes out is Faith and the Word of God. Cast those mountains out and cast your cares on The Lord. Don’t just think God is going to do it all - you have a part to play! Put The Word on your doorposts. Keep it before your eyes! Special guest Wessel Du Bruyn joins Megan this week to testify about demonstrating God’s power. He also talks about being a PK (Pastor’s kid) and how he ran away from God. He explains how he was very shy and didn’t like to give speeches. He got hit hard by the Holy Spirit and couldn’t run from God anymore. He took 7 years to get to know God. He prayed and slept God. Wessel points out some of the miracles that God has done through him like healing stage four cancer, blind eyes opened, deaf hearing again, and the healing of a girl with autism. She is able to speak normally now. He also gave a powerful word on how the church needs to get back to the basics and really know God. There are a lot of things happening in the world and in our own lives that we don’t always understand. We know The Bible tells us to “pray without ceasing.” Praise is a key component to prayer and being able to hear what God has for us. So, in this episode, Megan shares with us the importance of our opportunity to fill up your praise bucket. When we are tuned into The Lord always - He knows just the word to send us in times we are in a funk. It doesn’t matter what it looks like, where you are - just praise anyway. This week, Megan brings a passionate word on standing in the face of the storm to rise above in the name of Jesus. She also highlights being obedient to God as she is transparent in her back and forth with Him about speaking on this topic. Megan ultimately overcomes her own fear using the same advice she brings in this episode. No matter what you are dealing with, when opposition comes, take your stand with Christ. Megan reminds us that speaking, “not today” in Jesus name gives us victory over anxiety, depression or anything else the enemy tries to use against you. Christ is by our side, because of that, you have access to the creator of the universe. Megan points out that we shouldn’t speak from our feelings, we don’t need to say a word unless we have taken it to Jesus. We must, as The Scripture says, “take every thought captive.” Speak the name of Jesus. In His name, we don’t lose, we have victory. Nothing, no storm, no effort of the enemy, nothing can rise above God.
