At FaithPoint Church Tlhabane, Apostle Makopo taught that everyone is created by God for a purpose and is never a mistake. He encouraged believers to fight for the things God has called them to and to seek Him through prayer during difficult times. He explained that discouragement and negative thoughts can become spiritual battles, so we must train our minds through God's Word and the Holy Spirit. He encouraged the church to trust God completely, reject discouraging thoughts and allow Him to bring peace and strength into every situation.
This Sunday at FaithPoint Church CPT, Pastor Tendani shared that souls are precious to God and soul-winning is a matter of life and death: because we are made in His image (Gen 1:26-27), we must love what He loves, and His love was sacrificial as He took our pain on the cross (John 3:16), teaching us to hate sin but love the sinner; God doesn't need numbers — even if you're the only Christian in your family, He can use you, and salvation is not to be gatekept but shared because the harvest is plenty but labourers are few (Luke 10:2, Matt 28:19), requiring our total surrender of career, family and all; if we don't compel people to God (Luke 14:23), sin will compel them, so we must bring them with the right motive — beyond personal blessings — knowing salvation was made free (2 Cor 5:18-19) so no one can boast, and we are already equipped to go and do as Jesus modelled.
This Sunday at Faithpoint Church CPT, Pastor Sam Mashigo shared a sermon on how our main mandate is soul winning — at the end, only souls go with us to heaven. The era of being ordinary in church is over; we must be intentional and compel people to come, because no one is excluded and we were saved not for ourselves but to share Jesus like a cure the world needs. Our soul matters because Christ died for it, it connects us to God, and its value is priceless.
At FaithPoint Church Tlhabane, Apostle Sibusiso Khoza teaches that every person has a soul connected to their emotions and decisions. He encourages believers to love Jesus and love people, recognising that eternity is in the hearts of people. Using Nehemiah 3–4, he explains that opposition and trials cannot stop God’s work, because rebuilding requires faith and sacrifice. He encourages believers to care for God’s people and prepare the way for them to encounter Him.
There's a difference between knowing about Christ and truly knowing Him. Paul says everything he gained was worthless next to knowing Christ personally and that kind of encounter always changes you.
If your life looks the same as before you met Him, something is missing. This message is a call to move past secondhand faith, encounter Christ for yourself, and let that relationship transform your life so it becomes your testimony.
