Do you feel stuck in your marriage? Do you wish you could sometimes show up differently in how you parent your children? Do you desire a slower pace of life for your family? We all run into problems in our closest relationships, especially with those we love the most. But what if the problems we face are intensified, or perhaps even created, because of our own internal insecurities or lack of feeling loved? In episode 4 of season 1, Finding Your Way Home, we talk about the foundational solution to many of our relational concerns: Finding your way home to the Father's love. Unfortunately, like any other relationship, this takes time and practice, especially if we already don't feel lovable. In this episode, we discuss how we and our relationships change when we feel “delighted in,” we share our own stories of experiencing the Father’s love, and we offer insights on how we can move from intellectually understanding the Father’s love for us, to genuinely experiencing it. The Famous at Home podcast has a new beginning! Though we have over 400 previous episodes out in the world, this is the start of a new vision for Famous at Home, what we call “red carpet to revival.”Welcome to Season 1! Each new season will consist of seven episodes and be built around specific topics to help bring revival to your family. Season 1 is called “Find Your Way Home,” where we talk about the meaning behind this new phrase and why it sets the foundation for the emotional connection and spiritual growth you desire in your own home.In today’s episode, we talk about the reckoning that happened in our marriage and why nearly quitting Famous at Home was toiling the soil for the dead seeds to give birth to life all over again. As we talk about moving from “red carpet to revival,” our hope is that you see how it applies to your family in this cultural moment you find yourself in.Time Stamps0:00 Brand new intro and song 1:10 Welcome to a new season! 3:27 How the new season was birthed 6:06 The reckoning that led to revival 12:19 How culture shapes today’s families and what revival looks like for your family 16:53 Awakening the heart of a parent and the fight for your family 19:22 The household as a foundation for revival 21:30 What it means to find your way home 28:10 Who is this for? 31:30 New initiatives from FAH designed for revival in your family 34:30 Story behind the new FAH song from NONAH + Outro Show Notes: Pre-save NONAH's brand new single: Find My Way Home by clicking here: https://bellpartners.ffm.to/findmywayhomeOrder a copy of the Famous at Home book to put your family center stage. Does this matter to me as I think about how I’m engaging the task of “parenting?”In this episode, Josh talks about what he's learning from his own spiritual journey right now and proposes a developmental spiritual growth model for fathers and mothers that moves us from a journey of being self-focused (fear) to others-focused (joy). Hello! I just found out about this podcast series about a month ago and have lesten to a few of them and I just want to say thank you for taking the time to do these. This one I have had my eye on to listen too when the time came. And then this morning my wife was talking about the chnges in our lives and having three you kids and just busyness, and feeling that her friends have slipped away and it is a struggle to find those who you connect with. I can't wait to share this with her! Also, I have been sruggling myself with everything Josh says at the end about male friendships and feeling like there is no time and, yes, even guilt. This has given me a lot to chew on and I appreciate you sharing with us! Thanks again! -Brian
