On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don are back after the break to talk about the free agent signings that have come out of the MLB winter meetings. The Mets are spending big with the signing of Juan Soto, but what does that mean for him and how much do the guys like him for 2025? The Yankees signed Max Fried to solidify their rotation, but how does Grey feel about him? Jake Burger, Garrett Crochet, Andres Gimenez, and Spencer Horowitz were on the move. Thairo Estrada is on his way to Colorado while WIlly Adames heads to the bay to help the Giants. The Mets also brought in a couple of arms in Frankie Montas and Clay Holmes. The Dodgers can’t sit still and wasted no time bringing in Blake Snell plus Michael Conforto and Giovanny Gallegos. Plenty of more signings that we discuss the rest of the podcast for you to check out too!
For the last episode of the 2024 season on the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don draft the top 25 for 2025. Grey and I take turns drafting through 25 and then also discuss who else belongs in the discussion. We talk about where some of the tier breaks might be and where we have different thoughts, at least for now.
On this week’s episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don are here to recap the 2024 season. Before we get into that, we have to talk about CJ Abrams being sent down and Ohtani going 50/50 (and more). We talk about how Grey is doing in the expert leagues and lessons learned from the 2024 season. Then, it’s on to the awards for 2024. We hand out the AL and NL Rookie of the Year. Grey thinks there are clear winners for Breakout, Bounceback, and Best Fantasy Value. Do you agree with him? We wrap up the show with the Biggest Bust and we talk about some top 50 players we don’t expect to be back in there for 2025.
On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don discuss Jackson Chourio’s 20/20 season and where he fits in the rankings for next season. There were some more September call-ups in Luisangela Acuna, Thomas Saggese, Luken Baker, Isaac Collins, and Angel Martinez. Next, we move on to some veterans returning from the IL in Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Max Scherzer, Jacob DeGrom, and Carlos Correa. We wrap up the show with some bullpen talk and waiver wire bats and arms for your squad.

Kumar Rocker, Justin Foscue, and Jack Leiter are on their way up as reinforcements in Texas. Landon Knack is rejoining the Dodgers rotation and our boy, Jordan Walker, is back up after a minimum stay in the minors. Bryan Ramos and Marco Luciano also join the list of recalled players back up for September. We discuss Pavin Smith’s great week and if it’s something real. Then, Julio Rodriguez has started to perform as of late, but is it the return of old JRod or just a blip? Where does he fit in among outfielders for next year? We wrap up the show talking about the bullpens, waiver wire bats, and streaming pitchers.
On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don discuss how you should approach September baseball to take home your league title. Then, we move on to another September tradition with roster expansion and prospect call-ups. The Angels called up a pair of young arms in Caden Dana and Sam Aldegheri. Kyle Manzardo and Coby Mayo got recalled by their respective teams to help with the final push. We also cover Darren Baker, Griffin Conine, and Duke Ellis (and why isn’t it Jasson Dominguez). Corbin Carroll has become a power hitter, but where did the steals go? We cover the bullpen changes and waiver wire options for you to wrap the show up.
On this week’s episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don start the show discussing the most questionable extension of all time and Joey Votto’s retirement. Is the Nationals new call-up Dylan Crews a must add in all leagues? Do the accomplishments of Shoehei Ohtani and Aaron Judge earn them the top 2 spots in drafts next year? Next up is a game of Scientific Fact, Sex Panther, or I Don’t Believe You with some August and 2nd half breakouts. Connor Norby has been hot since his recall. Jhonkensy Noel, Pete Crow-Armstrong, and Ernie Clement have been useful recently too. On the pitching side, Bowden Francis, Spencer Schwellenbach, and Tobias Myers are throwing well, but can they keep it up and could they be useful in 2025?
On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don talk about some of the possible impact call-ups. The Rays have called up Junior Caminero and surprisingly are allowing for service time while the Yankees called up and sent back down Jasson Dominguez. The Tigers called up Jace Jung and Trey Sweeney, but which guy does Grey think you should prioritize. The Rockies also called up a couple youngsters in Jordan Beck and Drew Romo, while also reinstating Nolan Jones from the IL. Triston Casas also back from the IL along with Tommy Edman, Walker Buehler, and Bobby Miller. Next up, we play a game of The Gambler and B_Don asks Grey whether to hold em or fold em with some struggling players. Several middle infielders have struggled in the second half including Trea Turner, CJ Abrams, and Bryson Stott. Two of the top catchers are on struggle street, but would Grey drop them? What about some pitcher that were producing, but have slowed down in Garrett Crochet, Mackenzie Gore, and Max Fried. Lots of bullpen talk this week followed by waiver wire bats and streaming pitcher options.
On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_don talk about a couple of call-ups in Jordan Walker and Zebby Matthews. Is Grey running to the wire to add these youngsters? It was the week of Jackson as Chourio, Merrill, and Holliday all had impressive weeks and we discussed their production for the rest of this year and next year. James Wood also joins the list of prospects that have been performing recently and we discuss where he falls amongst the Jackson trio. Then, we turn our attention to some of the top recent performers on the power and speed sides. On the hot HR bats side, we talk about Kyle Schwarber, Jake Burger, and Jorge Soler. On the stolen bases side of things, we discuss Corbin Carroll and Xavier Edwards. We wrap up the show with bullpen talk, waiver wire bats, and streaming pitcher options.
On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don talk about a couple of top prospects that were called up in Coby Mayo and Jackson Holliday. After the prospect talk, we move on to talk about the trades that happened after we recorded the show last week. Dodgers added Michael Kopech, Jack Flaherty, Amed Rosario, Nick Ahmed, and Kevin Kiermaier. Lane Thomas goes from Washington to Cleveland, but is that a good thing for his fantasy production? The White Sox traded away Eloy Jimenez and Paul Dejong, but what could they do for your rosters? Josh Bell is on the move as he does every season and Jorge Soler found his way back to Atlanta. Bryan De La Cruz, Justin Turner, Paul Dejong, and Mark Canha all are on changing teams as well. Next up, we move on the pitchers that were traded at the deadline. Tanner Scott is off to Southern California, but it doesn’t look like he’s not going to be closing for the Padres. A number of streaming arms were moved, but how do we view these pitchers like: Alex Cobb, Paul Blackburn, Trevor Rogers, Yusei Kikuchi, and Frankie Montas. We wrap up the show with closer talk, waiver wire hitters, and streaming pitcher options.
On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don breakdown the MLB trades made at the deadline. The Yankees have added Jazz Chisholm Jr., and we discuss where fits in the lineup and are there any concerns with his move to New York (other than his green belt). Jazz’s former team made a move by recalling Max Meyer, but is the young pitcher worth a spot on your roster for the rest of this season? Zach Eflin is moving over to Baltimore with Seranthony Dominguez and Cristian Pache in a separate deal. Meanwhile, Austin Hays is going to Philly to help their OF and give some lefty pitching help. Randy Arozarena is on his way to Seattle, but is that a good thing for him? Many other players were on the move and we discussed them all like: Isaac Paredes, Christopher Morell, Jesse Winker, Tommy Edman, Erick Fedde, Danny Jansen, Carson Kelly, and James Paxton. A bunch of relievers are on the move too in AJ Puk, Carlos Estevez, Jason Adam, and some others.
On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don talk about some of the happenings after the MLB All-Star Game. We start with some of the promotions with Jacob Wilson’s bad injury luck, Nacho(ooooo) Alvarez Jr., and Tyler Phillips coming off a strong start. Next up, we talk about a few big name starting pitchers that are returning in Kodai Senga, Robbie Ray, and Clayton Kershaw. Then, it’s on to everyone’s favorite game, except for Grey, Scientific Fact, Sex Panther, or I Don’t Believe You for some players that have started the 2nd half hot.. After that, we move on to a trade edition of bullpen talk and waiver wire options.
On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, B_Don asks Grey about his Top 100 rankings for the 2024 2nd half. Not much argument about the top players, but some new faces to the top of the rankings from pre-season in guys like CJ Abrams, Elly De La Cruz, Tarik Skubal, and Jarren Duran. Grey has a trio of starting pitchers in the top 20 and none of them was Paul Skenes. If you’ve owned Ozzie Albies, Julio Rodriguez, Matt Olson, or any other early season strugglers, see what Grey thinks they might be worth if you can’t look at them on your team any longer or what they might give you in the 2nd half. William Contreras continues to be the Rodney Dangerfield of catchers as he still can’t get any respect as the #1 or even the #2 catcher in the rankings. Wyatt Langford, James Wood, and Ceddanne Rafaela have finished the 1st half strong and Grey has each of these young stars in the ranks. Where do Grey’s less liked players fall? Did he actually rank Lane Thomas? No matter what the ranks say, go get whatever your team needs to finish the season strong and take that ‘ship.
Grey is joined by Donkey Teeth and comedian Billy Hurley for a very special all-star break show. The guys count down the top five wacky baseball news stories from the first half of the 2024 MLB season. The stories include Angel Hernandez's abrupt retirement, the Athletics relocation to Sacramento, see-through uniforms, the Grimace Effect, and more!
On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don talk about the All Star Game Rosters and some players we think should have been included along with our thoughts on improving the festivities. After we get through that, we move on to the call ups from the week with Brooks Lee leading the pack. Along with Brooks, who had to get busy living, Shane Baz is back, Justin Wrobleski, Xavier Edwards, Christian Scott, and a couple others.
Grey and B_Don are back for another episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast. James Wood has been called up by the Nationals and you should be excited! For the first time in podcast history, Grey teaches somebody else how to pronounce a name when we talk about Jhonkensy Noel of the Guardians. Several other pitching call ups were made with guys like David Festa, Valenta Bellozo, Hayden Birdsong, and Davis Daniel along with the return of Graham Ashcraft and Josh Winckowski. We continue the show with some discussion about Julio Rodriguez’s continued struggles and throw some names out to see where his value sits these days for us. On the opposite side, is the Jarred Kelenic breakout finally here after a strong June? We wrap the show with some bullpen news, waivers wire bats, and streaming pitching options.

We move on to discuss the call ups of the week in Heston Kjerstad, Angel Martinez, and Ben Rice. We talk about how amazing Royce Lewis is and where he might fall among the rankings next year if he can manage to finish out the season healthy. Wyatt Langford has turned it on after his return, but what do his numbers look like the rest of the season. We discuss Paul Skenes place among starting pitchers. There’s some trivia involving the player rater, bullpen talk, and waiver options to close out the show.
On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don talk about the injury bombs being dropped on teams. What’s the news on the injury? Who is replacing them? And what leagues are they worth grabbing? We start with the Dodgers who lost Mookie Betts and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, as magically, Bobby Miller is ready to return. Corbin Carroll had an injury scare that sounds like it should be alright, but where does he fall among players rest of season for each of us. Michael Harris II is heading to the IL for the Braves and their backup options are abysmal. Noelvi Marte is due back at the end of the month, but is he worth stashing? Anthony Rizzo is banged up, and they may have to move some pieces around to fill in for him; at least they are getting Gerrit Cole back. We talk about the return of Trea Turner and where we have him rest of season. Where does Shane Baz fit among starting pitchers for the rest of the season? The Rangers have some support coming in Max Scherzer and Josh Jung. Joey Loperfido, DJ Herz, and Carson Spiers are getting an opportunity. We wrap up talking about the Blue Jays closer situation, waiver wire hitters, and streaming pitchers.
On this week’s episode of the Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don talk about the recent call ups and what these players might do for your teams. Can Hurston Waldrep and Drew Thorpe help your pitching? What about Adael Amador and Tyler Locklear for your offense? Then, we move on to some of the unexpected names at the top of the 30 day player rater. Heliot Ramos has been hitting since his promotion. Is this the time that he sticks? Luis Gil has been a stud, and are you allowed to say what your own over/under bet would be if you set the line? Nolan Gorman may have been dropped across the board in April, but somebody has been benefiting from his numbers over the last month.
On this week’s Razzball Fantasy Baseball Podcast, Grey and B_Don start the show with the end of Angel Hernandez’s career and how Jorge Lopez figured out how to escape the Mets. After that, we move on to some call ups in Henry Davis, Connor Norby, Justyn-Henry Malloy, and Pete Crow-Armstrong. After the prospect talk, we move on to discuss who the new #1 overall should be for the rest of the season. With the return of Wyatt Langford, we run through a game of which disappointing outfielder would you rather roster. With the injury bug running through the pitching landscape, are any of the injury replacements worth picking up? We wrap up the show with a couple big closer injuries, waiver wire bats, and streaming pitchers options for your roster.
