In this episode I talk about detachment from dunya and I invite listeners to reflect on their own attachment to worldly possessions and desires. May this be a source of barakah for all of us.
" I think when we're content with life, sometimes we tend to simply go through the motions of prayer. But when we're sad, when we're lost, when we're heartbroken -- we feel every dua that rolls off our tongues. We find solace in prostrating a little longer and we physically feel our heart connected to Allah in an inexplicable way. I think Allah allows us to be sad, because through pain we experience a bond with Him that we couldn't have wholesomely felt had we were simply content. There is wisdom behind your pain. He knows how to draw you near to Him." So today we talked about gratitude and how we literary help ourselves fell content and happy with everything that Allah put us through. May this be a sadakatu jariyah for us and our parents. Don’t forget for leave and impression and the end. Tune in at your convenience.
