The week that ended on January 18, 2014 was pretty slow, unfortunately. We saw a new Dark Souls II trailer, which I have attached to this post, and GTA V is pretty much all but announced for the PC. The biggest story of the week is easily the fact that Nintendo/NPD announced that the Wii U has been a colossal and absolute financial failure. Tune in to find more, and before you comment, no, I don't hate Nintendo.
It's time for the first Fate Cast News of 2014, and there are lots of crazy, awesome stories ready for your audio consumption. PlayStation 4 sales dominate the news, along with State of Decay developer, Undead Labs, a new Alien game, and Broken Age will be playable next week. Man, this week turned out to be pretty solid on the news front. In the week ending on 12-14-2013, we were shown a new trailer for The Walking Dead Season 2, found out that Fallout 4 is, indeed coming, and were lucky enough to find out about No Man's Sky. Also, I forgot to mention it in the news, but the release date for the Elder Scrolls Online is April 14, 2014.
Dalton was lucky enough to have the chance to sit down with Tim Browne during New York Comic Con this year and grill him a little about AC IV's upcoming multiplayer offering. Tim was kind enough to give us all the juicy details about customization, co-op, DLC plans and Game Lab. Dalton even asked him about the possibility of multiplayer ship battles! What did he say?
