Sruthi Chowdhary grew up in the South Indian region of Andhra Pradesh, she spent her first years of freedom as a teenager exploring the local markets and began to fall in love with the variety of flavors and textures available. While pursuing a masters degree in New York she realized her true passion lay in bringing the tastes and dishes of her childhood to the restaurant scene in New York City. Sara Dahmen is an author. When she was writing a piece of historical fiction she became obsessed with metalsmithing of the 18th and 19th century, specifically copper and tinware for the kitchen. She now runs House Copper and is making heirloom quality copper, cast iron, pottery and textiles. All he products are made in the USA in the traditions of our ancestors. She's also a mom of 3, and an award winning author. Hazel de los Reyes is the head roaster and owner of Gumption coffee. the newest coffee operation in Brooklyn. Started by Hazel and co-owner Clare Lim in Sydney Australia where they have a roastery and 3 shops. They opened in Brooklyn in March of 2019 in a huge space in Industry City. with roasting capacity, a cafe, and delicious food it's worth a trip out to visit, and you should pick up some of their signature roasts like Hammer and Tongs or Hairy Chest.
