oh for goodness sake! the attitude towards abortion in this episode is atrocious. yes, she saw that fetus as a baby BECAUSE IT IS A BABY. yes, women do regularly have PTSD from abortions BECAUSE IT IS KILLING A BABY. it is a violent act.

"committed suicide" is no longer the accepted phrasing. Instead try "died by suicide" "completed suicide" or "suicided"

I would have gladly punched Gertrude and her kids in the mouth, and set fire to Gertrude while she was alive. This episode is a wake up call for child abuse if ever there was one!

This sick woman is unbelievable. How could anyone treat an innocent child like this?! This hurt me listening to this one. People are really sick out here and have been for a long time.

I think it's silly and naive to imply that Becky suddenly became a problem child, had a personality change, dropped out, got pregnant, and ended up homeless because she found out who her mom was 🤨. Seriously... either she already had problem behavior that went mostly unnoticed or her issues were genetic (many mental illnesses strike in late adolescence/early adulthood) and bound to happen regardless of knowing her background.

it blows my mind that Sylvia's sister just stood by and watched all this happen. I'd risk ANYTHING - including my life- for the sake of saving my brother or sister from being slowly tortured to death. Nothing short of being physically restrained could keep me from trying to protect them.

Brooke Venning She was a bitch. If I was there, and it was my sibling being abused, no amount of prayer or medical excuse would save Gertrude and her children from my wrath. I'd set their house on fire with them in it.

when a 15 year old child is involved with an adult...it's not a 'relationship. it's child abuse.

Mathilde Fjeldstad I like the dichotomy between Sammy & Vanessa, I mean she can't help the way she sounds, so try offering some feedback that would help you enjoy listening to her.

Regarding their sponsor - Upstart is terrible. They still base loans on your credit score and nothing else. I tried it myself.
