Tag you're it! It's the F&D film review finale! Exorcisters Podcast co-host Amanda joins me once again as I never grasp a decent opening and fumble my way through the music as we make way into Tag. It's a long journey, but luckily we brought back a special guest Katie, BS. to guide us along and reunite with an old friend, Vine. I didn't really know about Vine until it was dead, but I guess I missed a ton of nonsense. Also, did you know Finn Wolfhard was on Vine? That's strange. Anyways, here's the finale of nonsense and we'll be back in a bit to announce what we're doing next! I had a lot of gin during recording.
Marriage Story It is a time of great trouble for Charlie and Nicole. They're too successful to care about anything and Nicole it too embarrassed to read her note about what she likes about Charlie. Charlie thinks he's the greatest stage play director ever and will go on to make a movie about getting a divorce so he can rake in those sweet Kramer v. Kramer Academy Awards while his now ex-wife will go on to be robbed of her Academy Award by one of the Danish girls. I think the kid will probably turn out fine. Spending time between LA and New York can't be all that bad, and since this was filmed in New York I guess not much has changed. Anyways, the Black Widow movie should have been a Metal Gear Solid movie about Boss and Adam Driver movies should come with ponchos...
I'm joined once again by The Exorcisters Podcast co-host Amanda, and this week we take a trip to Oz! Unfortunately, the tornadoes were out of stock so we had to strap ourselves down for a little electroshock therapy. It can't be that bad though I mean they were gonna do it to an 11 year old and she turned out mostly ok I think. Good thing she brought that chicken with her though, Toto was a trash companion that didn't do anything for anyone. Anyways, Aunt Em tries to be nice, but we always remember her for her evil ways in Carrie and Twin Peaks. I think you can hear Boz scratching at the door in this episode. He was ready for bed so he was telling me to wrap it up.https://theexorcisters.podbean.com/ Here's a link to The Exorcisters!
It's been a long delay, but Film and Disorderly is back!!! I didn't care for Pandorum and Thomas really liked it so that's the review you missed. Today you'll join me with The Exorcisters Podcast Co-Host, Amanda! If you haven't checked them out yet you absolutely should because you are totes missing out!!!! Anyways, I guess Boz, aka Dr. Bear, might be allergic to chicken and that's why he keeps getting like rashes or something on his feet and tum. We're gonna switch his food out and see how that goes, but we did get him some medicine. He's a good pup and hopes you enjoy the show!!!
Unfortunately we had a recording issue at Film and Disorderly so the planned episode will not be up today. Hopefully we can get it pushed out later in the week, but if not expect it up the following Monday.
Does your robotic leg not respond to your universal remote?! Did the drive through kid put your drinks in a plastic sack?! Are you troubled by grandpas hammer collection?! If you answered yes to any, all or none of these questions, then tune into the latest episode of Film & Disorderly!!! Ryan and Thomas talk about the critical darling Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Next Generation. We are joined By Oklahoma resident and "The Office" fan fic author Katie McCord, as we attempt to figure out what happened to Renee Zellwegers eyes. All that and more on this thrilling new episode of Film & Disorderly!!!
Climax is a movie someone made that we watched. Listen, just because you slap green and red gels on light and turn your camera upside down for the last 30 minutes doesn't mean you're an artist. I mean if I $#!% in a clay pot and wrap it in cheese cloth doesn't mean I know how to sculpt. Wilem Defoe has two great movies out right now Lighthouse and Motherless Brooklyn, like that's a double feature at matinee prices. So, enjoy the latest episode of Film & Disorderly, it's better than a Tuscon prostate exam, look it up. Total climax count for this episode was 26 btw.
So I saw The Lighthouse this morning and I gotta tell you it was the weirdest most obscure piece of cinema I have seen in quite a bit. Overall I'll just tell you now, but I loved the movie so much. I'll definitely be buying it and watching it periodically or just as something in the background while I'm doing things. It's super unclearish as to what exactly I was witnessing on the screen while at the theater. The trailer gave nothing and the movie maybe even less. It added to my confusion and that's what I love so much about it. You can't complain about Hollywood being out of ideas and not see this questionable masterpiece. It's obviously not for everyone, but it's definitely worth a look if you want something different you probably won't fully grasp from the first viewing. Also we talked about Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 on this episode, I guess.
Join Thomas and Ryan as the reminiscence about their babysitter past, present, and future all while trying to break into mom's liquor cabinet because her and dad are on a "couples retreat" at the Motel 6. I think we should have let the satanic cult stuff happen because there's nothing worse than kids being the hero's in movies. I just hate it so much and I don't know why. Kids are ok for the most part, but they just aren't as clever as screenwriters want you to think. Fuck them kids.
Once again Thomas and Ryan are joined by the illustrious Dr. Bear to take a deep dive into the fine ingredients that sum up Bad Taste. Was this Peter Jackson's first Oscar snub? Did anyone wannna see El Camino after the whole Kamino incident with the clones? We ask the tough questions here at F&D and answer them with a question of our own. Is Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation the single greatest achievement in cinematic history? Yes, yes it is.
Join Thomas and Ryan as they explore the underground sewers of old or modern day New York! It's a yucky and disgusting so it might just be the streets of New York for all we can tell. This Buzzball really messed me up so I'm just struggling to figure out this maze of what C.H.U.D. really means and what it means to us to see Daniel Stern be kind of a serious actor and do a great job at it! Also I get to talk about Twin Peaks some.
Join Thomas and Ryan as they fire up the resonator and ride the seahorses over that way, past them trees, over the hill, and under. It's From Beyond and it's a lot of purple, a lot of bald hate, and a lot of abstinence like only Jeffrey Combs can pull off ;)
From the minds that brought you Kummitock and Birdo Box it's Making of a Movie Part 1. Ryan and Thomas talk movie ideas in this bonus episode of madness.
It's a movie about a book about an adaptation of a movie. Ryan and Thomas discuss John Carptenter's In the Mouth of Madness. So close you glove boxes, load your 12 gauge and strap in for the latest episode of Film & Disorderly.
Tomtizzle & Ry-bry ft. Big Boz on the latest episode of Film & Disorderly!!! We check out some old school video games, eat big spoiled fruit, and try to decide if what you see is better or worse than what you imagine you see. It's The Colour Out of Space and it couldn't get out of here fast enough!!!!
Join Thomas, Ryan, and special guest Dr. Bear as we take a look at a dish best served cold. Revenge! It's Lady Snowblood and boy howdy does she whip us up something more red and delicious than Granny Smith could ever dream! All that and more in this weeks Film & Disorderly!!!
In the latest episode of Film & Disorderly we hit the highest of the highs with a double creature feature of legendary duo Sega Genesis and Elvira, Mistress of the dark! However, it comes at a cost with our lowest of the lows including Thomas banging on his desk and I think two student films from a few stray dogs in the Japanese heat.
Ryan and Thomas discuss anime show involving giant mech suits. In this bonus episode loaded with action!
In this action packed Film & Disorderly episode Ryan and Thomas discuss the Man From Nowhere. As well as eye surgery, Jim Henson's private stash of whiskey and the exact amount of licks it takes to get to the center of a Keanu Reeves movie. So tune in to latest episode of Film & Disorderly!!!
It's time to go home Sweet Home with Thomas and Ryan in this weeks episode of Film & Disorderly! Sweet Home is the inspiration behind some of video games most memorable lines. Everything from "Stop! Don't open that door!", "I'll be examining this.... I hope this is not Chris' blood!", and who can forget "You were almost a Jill sandwich!" So hang up your coat, kick off your shoes, and become a master of lock picking with Sweet Home.
