“Today, whether it’s an increase in narcissism, a reduction in time, or an obsession with technology, there are many reasons why people are understanding themselves to be and seeming to feel that there’s less empathy out there,” says Minter Dial, keynote speaker and author of Heartificial Empathy: Putting Heart into business and Artificial Intelligence. He goes on to explain the effects that this minimal amount or complete lack of empathy has in the world of business, one of which leaves customers feeling as though their needs and desires aren’t being heard, understood, or addressed. As a result of this, people, on the whole, are beginning to lose their loyalty for certain companies, and are unable to establish it for new ones. A seemingly obvious answer to this problem might be to program empathy into the machines with which we increasingly interact, to encode our experiences with empathy in order to ensure that it’s there—whether in an application online, an AI-driven personal shopper or automated checkout stands at the market. And while integrating empathy in AI might be a good idea, is it possible? Are we capable of encoding machines to show empathy when we are incapable of showing it ourselves? According to Minter Dial, this is an important question to ask, as it will force us to turn the mirrors on ourselves and consider why empathy is so important and whether we are capable of practicing it once again. Tune in to hear Minter Dial discuss a range of issues on this topic, and visit minterdial.com for more of his work. 🎧 Listen now on Apple Podcasts: http://apple.co/30PvU9C

Thanks so much for having me on the show! The myriad of guests on here is truly remarkable – EVER FORWARD!
I found this podcast to have really interesting guests who come from a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences. One of my favorites was with Dustin Strong from Strong On Health, who is doing important things in the holistic health world to approach mental health challenges. I’ve subscribed, so I don’t miss any episodes!
Great show. Great host.
When it comes to information, this show is by far one of the best I have ever listened to.
Short-term listener, but enjoyed your episode with John Williams around USA inflation and economic data flaws - thank you for bringing him on the show, always love to learn a new thing or two
Loved the Brenden Kumarasamy's episode.
Brilliant podcast with John A. Szada Jr. Please bring him again on the show soon.
While the discussion is broad and ambitious, it could benefit from a more focused approach
I listened to the Christos A. Makridis episode twice and I might listen to it a third time as well.
Microdosing can enhance neurological health, improve emotional well-being, and support neuroplasticity. Very effectively explained by Adam Schell.
Lara Heimann's yoga techniques are among the best. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to her on your show. Great job, Lara!
It's chilling to see how inattentive we are to the grave issue of climate change. I'm grateful that you're inviting experts and doing your best to raise awareness among the masses.
Loved this episode and love this podcast!
What a great podcast
Enjoy the podcast. I always learn something new!
This podcast is so informative
I never miss an episode so I’m always in the know. Thanks!
Just wrapped up the Doomberg episode. When can we expect to hear from him again? LOL Another fantastic pod, as usual.
I have heard Doomberg on other podcasts as a guest, but what sets this show apart is Richard's insightful questioning. He does not just passively listen he asks the very questions that echo in listeners minds as they tune in.
Here we go! Doomberg is back on Finding Genius. I can't even express how thrilled I am.
