First Conditional

Hello, my name is Pietra Victória. I present the podcast in English on technologies of the 21st century. The technologies of the 21st century are sure to greatly affect the lives of human beings; there will be many changes in the labor market. We will have a more comfortable life with a tendency to reduced costs. I hope that flying cars will be launched, enabling fewer traffic accidents and reducing congestion. Another creation that would help a lot would be Drones that carry things; it would consist of a mini version of the car. The goal is for him to carry things that are not too heavy; equivalent to the weight of a person of 80Kg. Mini robots would be created, which would be controlled by voice command or by remote control. Example: when we were in a certain part of the house and wanted something from the refrigerator, stove, wardrobe, etc., we would request or activate it through the control and the robot would bring it. Even better is the creation of a cell phone that lasts 168 hours and that also charges the base of solar energy. It would amount to a lack of concern for people who use cell phones very often and especially for those who need them at work. They would not need to put the same in the charger all the time. Another invention that would help to better understand the history of the world, consisted of the creation of a time machine; imagine students learning the facts, events from a more in-depth view, witnessing; it would be fantastic, moreover, they could get to know their ancestors better. The best of creations would be the construction of a technological machine that could contain global warming. Today, the biggest problem that affects the lives of people and animals; Due to global warming, several animals and plants have become extinct. The human being could think better and seek to create something that stops or starts to reduce these impacts, since they were the ones who started. These technologies would help and facilitate the lives of several people, therefore, remembering that the use of any technology in excess brings more harm than benefits. Time to change this version.

When we use it we are thinking about a situation or condition in the future that will be responsible for a result. In the First Conditional there is a real possibility that the condition, action or situation in matter will happen. For example: If the weather is nice tomorrow I'll go to the beach If he doesn’t take a bus, he'll have to take a taxi Notice that, in all the situations we are thinking about a future condition. None of the situations is happening yet, but there is the possibility of all of them to conclude. The Present Simple is used to show a possible future condition and the Simple Future to show a possible future result. Remember that the possibility of the condition will happen is real, this is really important in the first conditional. The first conditional structure isn’t rigid because it can vary depending on the sentence. The “if” clause can appear or not in the beginning of the sentence. If + subject+ Simple Present verb, +subject+ will+ verb+ complement For example: If the phone rings, I won't answer it. If he gets up at 5 o’clock, he will eat breakfast Or: Subject+Will+verb+ IF+ present simple+ complement For example: I’ll give you ten dollars if you eat lettuce.
