Patrick made his first PGA Tour cut at the Puerto Rico Open with four rounds in the red as he rings up his first FedEx Cup points and cashes his first check. Presented by Goldenwest Credit Union.

Finish in the top 25 on the Korn Ferry Tour... throw your hat in the air... get your PGA Tour card... play in PGA Tour events. Simple, right? Maybe not so fast. There is a hierarchy of status on the Tour and rookies are not at the top. Patrick went from being in the Sony, to being 5th alternate, to being 1st alternate, to going home without playing. This is that story. He'll start his PGA Tour career next week at the American Express.
