Don’t rush to recover!

I just want to say this: I think we put so much pressure on ourselves to recover from a physical, mental or emotional trauma that it minimally doubles the recovery time because we take too big of steps at once. From women pressed to “snap back” immediately after a baby, to “getting over” a breakup, quick ain’t always it. Quite frankly, many of us have more damage from not addressing the trauma or injury than the incident itself. Take your time, give yourself grace, allow the right accountability & be open to thriving in your new norm.
