Show Notes -In 1 cup of chopped cauliflower, you'll get 5.3 g of total carbs, 3.2 g of net carbs, 0.3 g of fat, and 2.1 g of protein, per the USDA. -Lesser known health fact cauliflower may slow your thyroid function down so if you have hypothyroidism, it is advisable to limit your consumption. On the other hand if you have hyperthryroidism cauliflower may support. -Cruciferous vegetables suppresses your thyroid function which is production of T3 and T4 hormones used in metabolism - your thyroid uses iodine to produce these hormones, so if you consume lots of cruciferous vegetables, ensure you increase your iodine intake such as table salt to help.
