I also missed hope... My overall take: loved the show and this last episode, but hated what happened in the story.
Conservatives feel mocked by all of Hollywood most of the time, but that only matters I guess if you're a liberal leaning person being offended in the same way....

The sequel trilogy has meant so much to me as a woman in my early 20s — deciding who I want to be and seeing Rey choose her destiny again and again and set her boundaries again and again. This has been so healing to listen to amidst all the hate for Rey and her story which has been breaking my heart. Your positivity and engagement with the SW material has given me hope. So Jedi of you!! How do you maintain self care in this time of lots of anger in the Star Wars fandom?
