How long does it take to find a language partner on HelloTalk? This time it took me 24 minutes, but I only had an exchange for 12 minutes. So my partner practiced English for 6 minutes, and I practiced speaking Spanish for 6 minutes! I'm a busy person and I don't have this kind of spare time to waste every day just to find a language partner. You have to post publicly or message a bunch of people. Not everybody you message or who shows interest in speaking actually wants to speak! Whether at that time that you're ready, or at all! There is a lot of inefficiency with HelloTalk for this reason. Seriously, another language learning podcast? Hear me out. I know you can listen to studio-quality stories from Duolingo, get classroom-level instruction from Language Transfer, and listen to fully-immersive conversations from podcasts like Easy Spanish.
