In today's episode, we are finishing up our fertility journey in New York City. We decided to try an ESSM and Maze Labs as our last chance to have a child. We attempted to remember the timeline of that trip to NYC but for obvious reasons, it's a bit blurry. We're also discussing the intense feelings that came up right after realizing we would be childless not by choice and the difficult conversations as we told people where we ended up.

In this episode, we are talking about our thoughts and how we processed the news that we had success with FNA mapping. We are talking about our initial consults with the IVF clinic and the financial implications of having next steps to take. There's was also a lot of soul searching during this time as we discussed other options.
In today's episode, we are finally talking about our pets! They are such a big part of our lives, especially now that we are childless not by choice. We've faced heartbreak as we said goodbye to 2 of them. We've brought in new furry family members. And we do everything we can to give them amazing lives. Currently we have a dog, Ahsoka, and 3 cats, Spectre, Minerva, and Zuko. And we will never forget Alyssa's almost 20 year old cat Indy and the first dog we adopted together, Sansa.
In this episode, we are picking up our fertility journey story. After realizing that maybe we did have some additional options available to us, we started exploring various other clinics. This research brought us to The Turek Clinic in San Francisco, CA where Zach underwent a procedure called FNA mapping.

We explored the unique ecosystems of Hawaii, including a visit to the Kona Cloud Forest Sanctuary, and adventures in snorkeling. We are also highlighting some of the culinary delights of the island. For us, this is about the importance of finding joy and healing through travel, even amidst the challenges of our fertility journey.
In this episode, we dive into the start of our fertility journey, how it all started with the first conversations about our individual feelings on kids, to the how and when of the traditional options for having a baby with male factor infertility in the mix. Through the lens of the first part of our own timeline, we explore the struggles both emotional and biological that couples may face in the azoospermia space. From processing the cliches from well meaning friends and family, to the lack of information on alternative options that could be game changers, to navigating the idea of parenthood itself through the added complication of infertility.
