It's a very special Daniel Craig edition of both CineFUNery and the Forgotten Film Pod's kind of annual Bondathon! In preparation for the release of Craig's last outing as Bond -- No Time to Die -- we joined the Forgetful Film Critic.com in a rewatch of Casino Royale through Spectre. Part 1 covers Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, while Part 2 goes over Skyfall and Spectre ... along with some NTtD speculation! You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod and all CineEFFeries on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you. As always, special thanks to Josh Taylor, aka the ForgetfulFilmCritic.com, for all of his vocal assists. Fourteen weeks and one day late ... it's time for the Forgotten Film Pod! Er, wait. The Forgotten SHOW Pod! The boys are back (for now) for their discussion of all six episodes of the classic anime miniseries IRIA: ZEIRAM THE ANIMATION (aka iria: zieram the bounty hunter on Amazon). Does it hold up? What would we pair it with? How many hoots do we give? You have to listen to find out! You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod and all CineEFFeries on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you. The Forgotten Film Pod is back! And rather than the normal cinematic pairing, we're doing a six-episode anime series from 1994 -- IRIA: ZEIRAM THE ANIMATION. Rob is introducing Jordan, and presumably many of you, to the wonders of tentacle monsters, kabuki fangs, and space bounty hunters! Did you know it was a movie first? Well, now you do. Listen to learn more, and come back soon for our discussion of the series! You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod and all CineEFFeries on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you. As always, special thanks to Josh Taylor, aka the ForgetfulFilmCritic.com, for his assistance on the cold open. Wait, what's this? A new movie that isn't a bonus episode? That's right, we're talking about BIRDS OF PREY AND THE FANTABULOUS EMANCIPATION OF ONE HARLEY QUINN as a regular ol' CineFUNery because ... spoiler alert ... it's fun! We also take this as an opportunity to discuss the comic book industry and its cinematic equivalent (because that's always a good time). So, is BoP better than Suicide Squad? The answer should be obvious, but you'll have to listen to find out! You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod and all CineEFFeries on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you. It's Valentine's Day 2020, so naturally we wanted to celebrate that by going deep (into mines) and getting romantic (by sending heart-shaped boxes with actual hearts in them). That's right, we're finally shedding our hard chocolate shells and revealing our gooey centers by watching and discussing ... MY BLOODY VALENTINE (1981) and MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D (2009)! So share the love with us and listen, won't you? And come back in two weeks for our next episode ... Birds of Prey! You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod and all CineEFFeries on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you. Welp. 2020 has gotten off to ... a start. Definitely a start of some kind. So with that, we thought it would be fun to drop outtakes from our original episodes from 2019 -- conversations, diversions and good old fashioned comedy that was, some might say, TOO HOT 4 TV! Some real spicy content here, folks. Hopefully this will tide you over until we officially return from our hiatus in the next month or so. Until then, please to enjoy our cutting room floor! It's a Life Day miracle! Rob and Jordan saw the latest (and last) entry of the Skywalker Saga, STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER (how original), and we've got some grievances to air, as well as some things to celebrate. So listen now and spread some holiday cheer (and jeers)! This description is notably all over the place with references, please forgive -- it's the holidays! Discussion: BONDATHON 2019

In 2019, we would like to give thanks to Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and, yes, even George Lazenby for giving us so much Bond goodness over the years. In that spirit, we present our biggest BONDATHON yet with discussions of FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, THUNDERBALL, and ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE. People think Daniel Craig's James Blonde started the more serialized storytelling of the franchise, but we're here to set the record straight! So gobble up some turkey and listen while you nap between football games, it's time for the Forgotten Film Pod! BAH-DAH-baaaaaah bah-dah-bah! Doo-dee-doo doo-doo! It's fully November, so you know what that means. It's time for the annual BONDATHON. It's been quite the journey over the years, and it's all led to this: the rise and fall of SPECTRE and Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Rob is introducing Jordan and our special guest Josh Taylor, the Forgetful Film Critic Dot Com, to Connery classics FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE and THUNDERBALL, as well as the lonely Lazenby's ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE. We are totes excite. Listen now, and come back in two weeks to hear our discussions of each movie immediately after watching them. You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod and all CineEFFeries on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you. As always, special thanks to Josh for his assistance on the cold open. We're wrapping up our spooooooooky-thon with another cult classic, Stuart Gordon's H.P. Lovecraft's RE-ANIMATOR! Just like raising the dead, making movies isn't fool-proof, but when you've Jeffrey Combs and Barbara Crampton, you can always count on a cineFUN time at the movies. So move yer dead bones and listen! You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod and all CineEFFeries on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you. We're continuing our spoooooooooky adventure into vampiric horror for October with our discussions of both the cult classic BLACULA and its even cultier sequel SCREAM BLACULA SCREAM. Do they hold up? You've got to listen to find out! You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod and all CineEFFeries on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you. October may have just started, but we're already feeling the spoooooky season! Our latest intro episode features Rob introducing Jordan to both of William Marshall's classic vampire flicks BLACULA and its sequel SCREAM BLACULA SCREAM. Come for the movies, stay for the not-so-subtle Count Duckula references throughout! Come back in two weeks to listen to our discussions! You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod and all CineEFFeries on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you. We're bounding back to SING! and ZOOTOPIA, ready to rhapsodize and discuss these anthropomorphic animated flicks that were, decidedly, only forgotten by Rob and Jordan. These may be popular in the populace, but don't get your dander up ... because they're new to us! So what did we think? Does SING! sing? Is Zootopia really that great a place? Do these movies harmonize well together, or is this a predator vs. prey scenario? You'll have to listen to find out! You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod and all CineEFFeries on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you. It's finally happening! After several promises that Jordan would be introducing SING! to Rob and that Rob would be introducing ZOOTOPIA to Jordan, we now keep that promise with our new intro episode. Not only that, but we have a special guest this episode, Jennifer Olivas! This super pairing is sure to be legendary, so feast with your ears on our tremulous new episode of digitally anthropomorphic proportions! You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod and all CineEFFeries on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you. As much as we appreciate these movies, this is the first episode Rob and Jordan feel it is necessary to issue a content warning for. We don't go into graphic detail, but FLESH + BLOOD itself contains graphic depictions of rape and sexual assault and so, naturally, our discussion must grapple with that reality. Spoiler alert, we still recommend the movie with massive caveats. Thankfully, BLIND FURY is much less potentially triggering, so consider it and our discussion of it your reward for making it through the first half of the episode. We hope you do take the time to listen if you can, because despite their problems, Rutger Hauer absolutely shines in both movies. And don't worry, we guarantee the next pairing will be much, much less harrowing! You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod and all CineEFFeries on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you. It is with a heavy heart that we approach our latest pairing of movies, because as we dip our toes into the filmography of genre legend Rutger Hauer, we must also say goodbye. RIP to one of the greatest actors of his or any generation. But these are movies we've been wanting to do for a while, so Jordan and Rob had to finally introduce each other to FLESH AND BLOOD, directed by Paul Verhoeven, and BLIND FURY, based off the classic samurai character Zatoichi the blind swordsman. Join us, won't you? You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod and all other CineEFFeries on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you. As always, special thanks to Josh Taylor, aka the Forgetful Film Critic (dot com), for his writing and recording of the cold open! So apropos of nothing at all, Jordan and Rob have decided to dive deep into the cinef#$%ening of DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS in this latest episode of the Cinef#$%ery featuring DUNGEONS & DRAGONS. Is Jeremy Irons a good actor? Is Marlon Wayans a good actor? Did Thora Birch deserve this? Has there ever been worse CGI in a theatrically released major motion picture? You'll have to listen to find out just how cinef#$%ed this movie is! You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod and all other CineEFFeries on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you. CineFUNery: The Burbs

CineFUNery: The Burbs

We're continuing our journey covering a pair of movies that we absolutely love. The second FUN flick that we're putting through the FUNery is THE BURBS, which has been Jordan's favorite since even he was a young, burgeoning Forgottenaut. Just how FUN is this Joe Dante-directed, Tom Hanks-starrer? Listen to find out! You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod and all other CineEFFeries on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you. We've been feeling a bit too negative recently, so for the next couple of episodes we decided to cover a pair of movies that we absolutely love. The first FUN movie that we're putting through the FUNery is BILL AND TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE, which is one of Rob's top ten movies of all time even as a young, whippersnapping Forgottenaut. Just how FUN is B and T? Listen now to find out how! You can also listen to the Forgotten Film Pod on iTunes, Stitcher, and most pod-catchers near you.
