I’m joined by Arielle Torrez as we check in with Juan Robles from IT. The three of us make recommendations on various small business restaurants in our hometowns that we’ve been supporting through the past few months. Before we get to that, we took some time to check in with Juan. We talked about how work has changed for him since the start of the working-from-home shift, but we also find out what he’s been up to outside of work.
In this bonus episode, I had the pleasure to sit down and talk with Chief Financial Officer and Senior Managing Director David Prenovost who just retired after working for 20 years in the Foundation. We talked about his career in the CSU system, the people he’s had the opportunity to work with, what he’s learned through it all, and what he was most proud of. David also shares with us his plans in retirement. The conversation was originally recorded on June 17, 2020.
