2020 has been a truly unusual year and, as we get into the summer, looking forward to the fall, that is still the case. As parents decide to take this step, I'm hearing more often than ever before, "how do we do this?" Well, I hear you! And this is my attempt to help you, the new homeschool parent, to get a grasp of how to start.   I also introduce a new segment "Mommy, will you read to me" with a very special guest. You won't want to miss it! There are SO many things to link in this episode, just head over to Four In Tow Podcast and look up the blog post titled Episode 32.

After taking a two month break, I'm back with new interviews, and hopefully, more encouragement for you!  This episode was recorded in February 2020, I had intended to post it in mid March. But many factors prevented me. Keep that in mind as we talk about going out and about. This was recorded before the Stay At Home ordinances of Spring 2020 came into effect.  Monica Burns of Class Tech Tips was my guest for this episode. We talked about the use of technology in homeschooling, specifically, programs that can help students with special needs. Monica had so much information to share with us and I really enjoyed the conversation. I hope you find it helpful.  Resources Monica mentioned:  Book Creator -- https://classtechtips.com/2019/09/04/book-creator-features/ StorylineOnline -- https://classtechtips.com/2019/01/02/read-aloud-videos/ Wow in the World -- https://classtechtips.com/2018/01/07/podcast-for-kids/ Math Learning Center -- https://classtechtips.com/2016/03/01/math-learning-center/ Immersive Reader -- https://classtechtips.com/2018/10/25/microsoft-onenote-class-notebook/ Easy EdTech Podcast -- https://classtechtips.com/category/podcast/ Follow Monica Here:  Email: monica@classtechtips.com Twitter: @ClassTechTips  Facebook: ClassTechTips Instagram: @ClassTechTips  Pinterest: ClassTechTips YouTube: ClassTechTips Follow Four In Tow Podcast on  Facebook: @FourInTowPodcast Instagram: @FourInTowPodcast Twitter: @FourInTowPod Pinterest: @FourInTowPodcast Website: www.FourInTowPodcast.com The podcast was made possible by my wonderful friends through Patreon: www.patreon.com/fourintowpodcast
