Welcome my favorite change maker! This MBA is a bought degree. Everyone who has the money can study at a private university like WHU. Right? Of course not.I heard that a lot, and honestly, I thought that it was (a little bit) true. BUT I was taught better and realized that this misconception is just wrong. Nevertheless, I had to ask Megan Heikamp, Senior Admissions Manager at WHU, what she thinks about that. Are you someone who gets nervous before an interview? I do. A LOT! Even if you would think that I look incredibly calm, inside of my head, it is just chaos at these moments of life where you are under tremendous pressure. And there is nothing wrong with getting nervous; what actually matters the most is how we handle it.Preparation is one key, and Megan takes us on a journey to reflect on our successes and failures. This episode will give you a glimpse into the admissions process at WHU, but more importantly, it will help you get ready for any interview. The most challenging question for me was what I expected from my classmates and what I could offer them. Did you ever ask yourself what your footprint is on this earth? What you contribute to your family/friends/workplace/projects? According to Megan, the answer to this question gives the admissions managers great decision-making insights. What would be your answer?Join our conversation and share your thoughts with me via freetimemba@gmail.com! :)All the best!BurcuSupport the show
Welcome my favorite change maker!Life is a journey. Sometimes we move forward - fast and furious. But sometimes we crawl backwards.  Sometimes we aim high, but sometimes we barely manage to get the spoon into our mouth. We all have our ups and downs. Nevertheless, every journey is unique. However, none is perfect. Always remember: Life is not about perfection, it is about progress. We cannot find an answer to every question. We are allowed to do mistakes. We will definitely fail. Always remember: Life is not about perfection, it is about progress. How do we progress? How do we grow? How do we keep learning?Or should we stop learning and start unlearning the limiting believes and prejudices we have?In the latest episode of Free Time MBA Sarah Fink, one of my fellows from my Part-Time MBA at WHU, joined me in order to dive into these questions and shared her own perspective on the importance of lifelong learning.Join our conversation and share your thoughts with me via freetimemba@gmail.com! :)All the best!BurcuSupport the show
