I'm so excited to share this episode! This week, I sit down with Nicholas Fansher of NF Boxing. Nicholas has been a Boxer for 10 years, he's a level 1 & 2 boxing coach, and he's an MBA Clinical Nutritionist. He has a wealth of knowledge to share! He grew up in London, Ontario, Canada and now he resides in the US. We talk about Nicholas' martial arts journey, family trauma and healing, healthy eating and living, and more! He shares his intense training regime he developed throughout his life. He would run up to 100 miles a week while training in boxing for several hours a day! He is a 3rd degree Karate Black belt, a 3rd degree Black belt in LissaJous-Do, and a Purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He also has a fight record of 6-0 in kickboxing and 4-2 in amateur kickboxing. We made it to Season 2 Finale! I really enjoyed this season, all the ups and downs, and this episode is no different. Jason Padilla is the head instructor of Gracie Jiu Jitsu of Grand Junction, CO. He is a veteran, husband, and father, and he is such a compassionate and kind jiujitsu teacher. I met Jason when I was fresh out of the hospital and I was seriously trying to find my footing. I moved across the state and found his program. I met his wife and children and they welcomed me immediately. We talk about how Jiu Jitsu should be practiced and he demonstrated those morals each time I met with him. It's an absolute honor to be connected with him and his family. They made a mark on my life and help changed the trajectory of my martial arts career for the better. Jason got to meet the Grand Master Helio Gracie as well as several of his family member.
