In this episode, I delve into self-ownership, societal dynamics, and personal responsibility. We discuss "mansplaining," highlighting how it can obscure knowledge gaps, and critique the current political landscape as a battleground of propaganda rather than genuine discourse. I analyze gender dynamics, comparing financial and sexual exploitation and examining societal expectations that hinder authentic connections. Emphasizing personal accountability, I argue that societal dysfunction originates in individual choices and urge listeners to confront uncomfortable truths. We briefly explore philosophical arguments for the existence of God, expressing skepticism about claims of divine knowledge. The episode wraps with a critique of the welfare system, framing it as a means for privileged individuals to feel virtuous without real accountability. Ultimately, I call on listeners to embrace responsibility for true societal change.GET MY NEW BOOK 'PEACEFUL PARENTING', THE INTERACTIVE PEACEFUL PARENTING AI, AND AUDIOBOOK!https://peacefulparenting.com/Join the PREMIUM philosophy community on the web for free! Also get the Truth About the French Revolution, the interactive multi-lingual philosophy AI trained on thousands of hours of my material, private livestreams, premium call in shows, the 22 Part History of Philosophers series and much more!See you soon!https://freedomain.locals.com/support/promo/UPB2022

"My marriage is about to break up""Hello Stefan, I really need help. I desperately don't want my family to break up."My wife has recently told me that her opinion of me has changed, that she doesn't love me like she once did. This is not without cause, we have been having constant fights as of late and also the first year of my three year old's life was very taxing on the both of us which was the first sign of turmoil in our relationship. I am completely torn up because I don't want to do to my two boys what my wife and I went through (our parents divorced when we were toddlers). This was both of our doings since we have mishandled the rough start of parenthood and neglected our relationship, but ultimately (as my wife pointed out) this was my doing because I failed to be the leader of the family. I hope to have my wife on the call. We as a couple need an outside and unbiased party to point out the shortcomings and failures of our relationship. Stefan this is a desperate plea. I hope to find a path to repair and restore the relationship with my wife. I love her dearly and want to see through to the end the raising of our kids. Thank you."GET MY NEW BOOK 'PEACEFUL PARENTING', THE INTERACTIVE PEACEFUL PARENTING AI, AND AUDIOBOOK!https://peacefulparenting.com/Join the PREMIUM philosophy community on the web for free!
Article: https://thinkspot.com/discourse/OJun3y/post/sadhika-pant/the-trade-off-in-capitalism/letlYPrIn this episode, I delve into Sadiqa Pant's article on the conflict between capitalism and individual fulfillment. I emphasize the need for precision in discourse and the importance of engaging rigorously with opposing viewpoints grounded in principles. I critique vague definitions of capitalism, stressing individual rights and the balance between profit and human experience. Ultimately, I argue that true fulfillment arises from understanding our choices and responsibilities, challenging the idea that meaning must stem from corporate narratives. I encourage listeners to reflect on their values and engage thoughtfully with the societal structures they navigate.GET MY NEW BOOK 'PEACEFUL PARENTING', THE INTERACTIVE PEACEFUL PARENTING AI, AND AUDIOBOOK!https://peacefulparenting.com/Join the PREMIUM philosophy community on the web for free! Also get the Truth About the French Revolution, multiple interactive multi-lingual philosophy AIs trained on thousands of hours of my material, as well as targeted AIs for Real-Time Relationships, BitCoin, Peaceful Parenting, and Call-Ins. "I have been with my wife for 20 years (married for 10). We have a four-year-old son. The last two years of our marriage have been a continuous downhill slope, culminating in a crash this June."I've been working a lot, and she has felt lonely. We developed an unfortunate relationship dynamic: when I tried to get closer, she would push me away, which made me try less. About three years ago, she started doing parkour (free running and jumping), which I wasn't happy about. I thought it's rather risky, and if she wants to stay fit, she could engage in less risky and easier-to-arrange activities. If she needs company, she could find it elsewhere. She ended up breaking her arm doing parkour."This spring, she got really close with a guy at parkour, and they fell in love. Initially, she wasn't very upfront about it, but she eventually told me. She also said that she is sorry. They only talked and hugged; nothing else happened, but she is very much in love with this other guy (she has butterflies), but has since stopped talking to him."Currently, we are going to marriage therapy and trying to fix this. She is also attending therapy on her own. Another relevant point is that I am the sole breadwinner in our relationship. We have an above-average financial situation (a beautiful home, multiple vacations each year, extreme sports, etc.), but finances have been an ongoing issue between us for many years."I acknowledge that I have made many mistakes in our relationship. I'm not very good at romance and tend to be a realist, logic-based person and I didn't pay enough attention to her needs. She is more the improvisational, go-with-the-flow type of person. I would like to fix our marriage, but right now, I feel lost. I really could use your help and insight."Thank you"GET MY NEW BOOK 'PEACEFUL PARENTING', THE INTERACTIVE PEACEFUL PARENTING AI, AND AUDIOBOOK!https://peacefulparenting.com/Join the PREMIUM philosophy community on the web for free! Also get the Truth About the French Revolution, multiple interactive multi-lingual philosophy AIs trained on thousands of hours of my material, as well as targeted AIs for Real-Time Relationships, BitCoin, Peaceful Parenting, and Call-Ins. "I dreamed i was on the 8th floor of an apartment building, where my family of origin lived in the layout of their first floor of their house. I was watching porn and it was providing dopamine. I wanted to find this particular video but i couldn't and left my room. My older brother wanted to play a strategy game on my pc, i let him. I went out to the living room and was sitting on the couch thinking about the porn. I wanted to go back to my pc to look at it. There were tremors and the building shook. My mom came out wearing my baby daughter and started yelling at my brother for gaming so much. It was true that he was gaming nonstop for 6 hours. I got mad at my mom and told her that maybe she should be curious why he has such a massive hole in his dopamine that he's trying to fill with gaming, and to leave him be. My mom got pissed and stormed off. More tremors shook the tall apartment building. I fled and I went to the first floor and met some kid who said he came up from the negative seventh floor. I was surprised how deep the building went. I asked him to show me. He did, he took me down this concrete staircase down several flights, another staircase, another few floors. The layout was winding and confusing, going further into the earth. Eventually we were at the bottom, it evoked terror in me. It was concrete, clean, evidence of habitation, deep, isolated, no sunlight, safe, suffocating. There was a bed on the floor, a desk with a banner behind it, and several more rooms I dared not explore. He went up and i followed right after him."GET MY NEW BOOK 'PEACEFUL PARENTING', THE INTERACTIVE PEACEFUL PARENTING AI, AND AUDIOBOOK!https://peacefulparenting.com/Join the PREMIUM philosophy community on the web for free! Also get the Truth About the French Revolution, multiple interactive multi-lingual philosophy AIs trained on thousands of hours of my material, as well as targeted AIs for Real-Time Relationships, BitCoin, Peaceful Parenting, and Call-Ins. I'm blown away every time Stef eats while talking, for someone who complains about every little noise his guests make lol that is just objectively rude
this girl's family is fkd up. I'm only wondering why she's living there and not getting a place with her bf. I left the day of my 18th bday for a similar situation.
the movie he didn't remember the name of is "the case for Christ"
This was one hell of a novel. Thank you, Stefan.

I knew you'd be back on the news. Don't feel bad, I signed up for Twitter again.
Excruciating. But boy did I learn a lot.
These kind of shows are of great interest to me. It was your comments regarding the Australian doctor and the dating agency that brought me to your podcast. Your observations and commentary are excellent. Thank you.
Ugh another anti-gun idiot, people like this live in a fantasy land where real danger doesn't exist. He'd believe in guns if things broke into his house and raped his wife, guaranteed. Fools.
Best show on earth. Changed my life for the better in dozens of ways. my family will forever be indebted to Stef.
For all that is good I am begging you. Break up.
Love is one good answer. That's why one would put up with BS. Let me write why I think it is. Mr. Molyneux was the greatest advocate/proponent/champion of reason and evidence. One person. The 1000000 people who listened on bigger platforms were like 1000000 lottery tickets. One of them might pick up the torch. Now that Mr. Molyneux has only, say, 25000 "lottery tickets" listening to him, there is something to be said about growing the audience back to 30000. Who's to say that the very next person to follow him isn't *the one*-- an even greater advocate for logic and reason. That said, there is only so much Stefan, you, or me to go around. Love takes effort. Save your core energy for yourself. Take care of number one.
So glad HEX got a mention. RICHARD HEART would be an amazing guest. Ethics seems like such a Big part of his project.
Thanks Stefan that was great, seriously really interesting and thought provoking. I look. forward to many more. Cheers Steve In France.
who would live like this??
