The enemy of darkness comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. One of his tactics involves lying. The Bible calls him the father of all lies. Often, the devil or one of his demons will attempt to implant lies into our minds to deceive us. Fortunately, God has given us a spiritual defensive weapon to protect our minds from anything the enemy would try to throw at us. What is this weapon and how can you use it? You have within your grasp a powerful spiritual weapon. God has not trusted any other creature with it; therefore, there is a great responsibility to wield it well. The weapon God gave us is the weapon of decision. While it might not seem like decision is a weapon, it certainly doesn’t carry with it the glamour of a sword and shield or armor, yet without this weapon at our disposal, we tremble at the sight of our enemy. In this video, we will uncover how decision is a powerful spiritual weapon and how to use it to our advantage against the enemy of darkness.
If you don't know the tactics your enemy uses against you, you will never be able to guard against attacks that come your way.
We will pick up our discussion from where we left off last week during this episode. Last time, we began a conversation about knowing your enemy. We talked about the enemy's tactics, and this week, we will be looking at his top used strategy: lies. The Bible tells us that the devil is a liar and a father of all lies. It shouldn't surprise us when the enemy attempts to use lies to sway our beliefs in God. Download - Who Am I in Christ? Scriptures https://bit.ly/3nzFrw0
There is an enemy who does not want God's people to become militant. This enemy wants us to be passive where we sit back and relax instead of fighting back and occupying until Jesus comes. If you are going to occupy in these last days, you must know who the enemy is and what tactics your enemy uses so you can be vigilant to war against the enemy when necessary.
To occupy 'till He comes, we must treasure what God treasures. He lines the streets in heaven with gold, so we know His treasure does not involve material goods. Let's discover what He does treasure so we can imitate Him.
With everything that seems to be going on in the world, it's easy to lose track of who you are in Christ Jesus. But I'm here to tell you: there is no identity crisis here! Today, I want to talk to you about who you are in Christ Jesus. We will look at many scriptures that show us who God says we are. Our job is to believe it. Can you confidently raise your hand and say, "I know who I am?" If so, you are in great shape. But if you can't know that, this message will encourage you. It will open your eyes to what the Bible says about you. Did you know? God has called you. He is no respecter of persons. We live in a better covenant than these Bible heroes did, a covenant based on better promises. To "Occupy 'till I Come," you must know and be convinced of your identity in Christ. God created you for "such a time as this." He supplied you with everything you need to be an asset to the body of Christ. The enemy doesn't want you to walk fully in your identity because you'll fulfill God's purpose for your life if you do. But the enemy doesn't want that. He wants to see you fail because he thinks he can beat God. But don't let him rob you of your God-given identity. The people around you need you to BE WHO God made you to be. As believers in Christ, we are victors, not victims. If that is true, then why do so many believers walk around feeling like a victim? Why do they feel defeated and ashamed? To do what God has called us to do in 2022, we must change our mindset from a victim mentality to that of a victor. In this video, I'm going to talk to you about some instances in the Bible where people were faced with the choice of being a victor or being a victim. I'll talk about what a victim mentality looks like, and finally, I'll help you find a better way towards walking and living in victory every day.
Although we see devastation and immorality all around us, God's word assures us of this truth: the church wins.
