 Isolated with no means to communicate with the outside world, Horace and the other survivors must attempt a desperate trek through miles of wilderness before nightfall.   

 A hunting party organized by the mayor travels deep into the mountain wilderness to trap or kill whatever is terrorizing the town. Fed up with Sheriff Flynn’s lack of progress regarding the gruesome deaths, the town’s Mayor, Moses Owmby, takes matters into his own hands, much to Sheriff Flynn’s dismay. Meanwhile, Hattie Ogle has a most unusual encounter with a customer in her shop. Doctor Cooper attempts to inspect a patient and discovers instead a mystery.
