Contrasting Reactions to the Death of George Floyd and the Assassination of Charlie Kirk with Dr. Peter Hammond & Justin Ford
with Dr. Peter Hammond & Justin Ford   WHY WAS CHARLIE KIRK ASSASSINATED?   The public assassination of prominent Christian free speech advocate, Charlie Kirk, has traumatised and galvanised many worldwide. Why would anyone want to murder a moderate author and speaker like Charlie Kirk?   Why do you think so many celebrated his murder on line and publicly?   What did Charlie Kirk stand for? What was so controversial about his message?   Why do so many on the left want to kill those they disagree with?   If someone as moderate as Charlie Kirk could be murdered for his beliefs and public statements, who else may be targeted?   What is actually at stake here?   Have you ever received death threats? How did you cope with such hate?   What is happening on University campuses that students could become so radicalised as to hate free speech and want to kill a Christian who stands for God, faith and family?   What motivated Charlie Kirk to risk his life in his public stand for Biblical values on University campuses in America?   Where can listeners learn more of the Biblical worldview that shaped Charlie Kirk’s faith and courage?   What can parents do to protect their children from the secular Woke radicalisation of University campuses?   What can Christian speakers and Evangelists do to protect themselves from the kind of violence Charlie suffered from?   What can we do to better understand and support Christians who are facing persecution for their faith?   “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit… … And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose… … Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword.  As it is written: ‘For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.’ Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:1, 28, 35-39
with Dr. Peter Hammond & Justin Ford "…'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the Lord of Hosts." Zechariah 4:6
Prayer is not Enough

Prayer is not Enough

2025-09-0336:15

With Dr. Peter Hamond & Justin Ford   “If you abide in Me and My Words abide in you then you will ask whatever you want of Me and it shall be given to you.” John 15:7 An international news controversy is raging over a call to prayer by both president Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance. One time spokeswoman for Joe Biden, Jen Psaki, as made news headlines with her condemnation of these calls to prayer declaring: “Prayer is Not enough!” How should Christians respond to this statement? Does prayer actually make a difference in our lives, in society and in history? Or is prayer more like wishful thinking? How should we balance God's Sovereignty and our responsibility? What are the imprecatory Psalms? You personally experienced the power of prayer in your life? Can you actually point to cases of answered prayer? As a missionary have you witnessed the power of prayer in the mission fields that you have served in? Can you point to historic events where prayer made the difference? How can we revive our prayer lives? For those who have never been involved in prayer, how do you recommend that they start? Are there books on prayer that you can recommend? Where can listeners learn more about prayer? And where could they obtain some of the books that you have recommended?
