Today you get to hear me ramble about the spookies that are currently on my mind. Made some changes just for funsies, and I'm gonna make more (threat).
Today me and friend of the show Rih talk about the things we've been watching recently and dive into how much the newest season of Black Mirror really hurt us. Did this newest season also tell you to sit down, shut your f*cking mouth and enjoy what you got, OR ELSE?
This episode is like a Shrimp cocktail, not enough to keep you satisfied but just enough to keep you crawling back for more. I let a special guest host episode and he discusses how weird it is to be focused on a 9-5 when the world is burning, freezing, and flooding. There's a lot going on, there's bigger fish to fry!
In today's episode I am joined by Friend, Comedian, Producer, and half of the Cool Aunties podcast @VivaLaPalma! We talk Urban Legends, folklore, and how it all ties back to racism! This was one of the most fulfilling conversations yet and I hope you all enjoy as much as I did!
I am joined by the hilarious host of the Slash Her podcast @AdrianRaee and @MyLonelyBiscuit! We discuss horror hookups, dating, using craigslist in a small town, and even discuss the death of icon Venus Extravaganza. Fair warning this is the most explicit conversation I've ever recorded so.... have fun!
Today we talk the horrors of the deep with my special guest! Let's get it kraken
This episode we have a special guest at the crossroads where we discuss several topics! I don't wanna spoil a single thing so listen and join us on this journey!
In another birthday episode I talk about conspiracy theories! The fun ones, a scary one, and some that might not even be conspiracy theories.
In this episode we talk about how the horror I viewed as a child brought forth the AnthonyJeromeM You know today. I talk about the horrifying things I had to view as a child but wouldn't trade for anything else in the world.
In this episode I talk about a show that brought me so much joy throughout of all of spooky season! The TV adaptation of Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire retold a story I knew and loved and made it even better. There are some slight spoilers but I don't think listening to this can even somewhat prepare you for what messy circumstances we find our characters in. I mainly compare the show and movie as well as highlight the things that really made this show work for me.
This episode I shoot off all my opinions regarding new show about a certain group that meets at midnight, a club! I also touch on some of the new horror we've been blessed with on this wonderful weekend. Spoilers, hot takes, and ramblings abound!
Happy Spooky Season! In this episode I go over why Lucid Dreaming fascinates, terrifies, and confuses me. I talk about some specific lucid dreams I've had, specific experiences, and even a trick I learned along the way. If you also are plagued by frequent occurrences of involuntary lucid dreaming I want to hear from you! Twitter: AnthonyJeromM
Miguel did us the gracious favor and left the confessional to be here with us today. @MiguelMyersATx on twitter is author, friend, and host of My Horror Confessional. In this episode we go over our initial feelings of Jordan Peele's Nope. We go more in depth about the Fred Dekker's 1986 sci-fi zombie movie Night of the Creeps. Fair warning, there will be a lot of time spent going off the rails, but we love that here.
In this episode Anthony/Jerome bring you a movie that is partially responsible for why I'm like *that* when it comes to wishes. It's the first movie review and I wanted to try something a little different. We'll see how it goes, there WILL be spoilers. Wishmaster was released in 1997, Executive Produced by Wes Craven, and directed Robert Kurtzman.
In this episode I discuss a little about the 27 club and the person who I believe to be the first member of that club. I lightly touch on the rumors that he made a deal with The Devil and how that reminded me of the stories Mexican family members would tell about encounters with Satanas himself. This is a shorter one but it's not about the size of the boat right? Shout out to @EvilFlynn on Twitter for the great effort you put into this artwork and The Stairholes.
In this episode I introduce to my horror history and provide some recommendations for lovers of the zombie sub-genre.
