Sweet Loretta is on her way to do a show, but Hazzard County has other plans. Boss and Rosco reroute her tour bus past the Boars Nest where she is promptly kidnapped by the Pine Valley Rockers. They spend most of the episode parked in a barn, while Bo and Luke slowly drive around, and the local fuzz doesn’t really leave the Boars Nest. Not much urgency in this one, but everyone seemed to have a lovely day in Hazzard. Loretta even decided to skip her concert to go back to the Boars Nest at the end. Take a load off, everyone. Two new cops in town!? Sheriff Grady Bird joins the cast, but the big news is that Daisy becomes a deputy. Grady catches some bank robbers and they escape on Daisy’s watch. Everyone joins the chase until it ends with a plane crash. There was some questionable behavior and decision making in this episode, and that’s saying something for Hazzard county. This week we’re discussing treasure hunting, the civil war, gator wrestling, metal detectors, boats…. and twins! Did Jed find a magic lamp? No friends, all this and more is in the latest episode of the Dukes of Hazzard. Laura (aka Mary Kaye) is an academic who’s on the hunt for a civil war relic. Then the bad guys want it, and then Boss wants it, and then there’s car chases, and boat chases, and gator wrestling, and schemes. Fun Boys fans, we did our best on this one, and we sure liked it, but don’t just take our word for it. You’ve got to watch this episode! It’s the real “Treasure of Hazzard.”

An old moonshiner can’t give up the life of crime, even with the ATF constantly busting him. Luckily, Boss’s own crime of the week involves something similar to an army tank, which our moonshiner quickly steals for a mobile shine operation. The Dukes can’t pass on a crime spree opportunity of their own, so they’re quickly involved, and pretty soon we’ve got chaos all over north central Georgia. This felt like a weird episode, paired with a wild conversation betwixt the Fun Boys. Spoiler alert, Josh met Tom. This episode could have more appropriately been called “oil tycoon hires goons to kidnap daughter and make her go on a sweet cruise, but the Dukes get mixed up in things, and we’re not sure anyone even got to go on the cruise.” But the daughter, Susie, is in love with a farm boy she met at college. Daddy thinks it’s a bad match, but the Dukes teach everyone that true love comes from the heart… and the country. The boys also drive Daisy’s car over a cliff.
