Future Millionaire

Today I woke up early to go film a project. This is a four day project. I'll be filming every morning to put together a video for a client. I still haven't gotten any new social media clients and that's a little bit frustrating. It's Monday, so I talked with my coach and she decided that I was probably overwhelmed. I am. I'm always overwhelmed. But I'm used to it because I live here. I know that eventually everything is going to pay off, she's working to help me find balance in my life and make sure that everything that I'm doing is aligning with my goals. I signed up for a trial of the Motion app. I had it a few years ago but it's kind of clunky. We'll see how it is now and maybe it'll help me out. I spent all day today at work, and all day yesterday. I have a lot of stuff I need to figure out for the week. But I'm so behind and tired. I don't know how I'm gonna plan it all out. Good news is I made OK money at work the last couple of days and I have some filming jobs lined up over the next week. I got my car going and I think it's gonna be fine to drive around for a little bit. So that's exciting. Will save me a lot of money on Ubers. Every Sunday I try to clean and get ready for the week but since my day was thrown off today, that didn't happen. Today I talk about how much I have going on and how hard it is for me to delegate certain tasks. Feels like there are so many things to do, and I'm always trying to add new customers to the pipeline which takes away from doing the actual things. Today I spent the majority of the day walking back-and-forth to Walmart in AutoZone while I try to fix my car. My car hasn’t been working since November recently I finally spent six or $700 to get it going and today and yesterday have been all about getting it back together and getting it running. I finally got it put together and started and it was smoking so I’m not sure what’s going on but we will try and fix that tomorrow after work 

Today, I'm starting to feel a little bit of burnout, this seems to happen every few months. I've been pretty disciplined, and 75 hardest stressing me out. I've got a lot of goals. I need to hit and things that I need to do. I need to add two more clients this month, and I'm not exactly sure how it's gonna happen. What happens when I'm distracted as I find myself scrolling on social media and having a hard time doing the things that I need to do. It gets so exhausting. Today has been a lot of time working on adding businesses to my directory website. This gives me the opportunity to talk to them and build a relationship, which may eventually lead into them becoming a client. Even if they don't become a client, I get to learn their story and do something nice for them. I think this is the best thing for me to do and spend my time on since it has accounted for most of my clients in my income in the previous months. If I can figure out a way to do this a scale, it might be really beneficial. Today I really focused on looking at what has accounted for most of my income in the last couple of months, and then figuring out a plan to capitalize and duplicate on that. Adding businesses to my directory website as brought in about $4000 of income in a couple months. I only added about 10 businesses to my directory website and from that it generated a good amount of money from different people who ended up working with me. So now I'm figuring out a way to spend most of my time on doing that and using it as a freebie to potential clients. I'm still gonna have to keep finding people to pitch people to get in front of, there are so many people out there and I know that I just need to find the right ones and get myself in front of them. Sometimes I get really frustrated and distracted. Today a big focus for me was figuring out where my energy needs to go. Sometimes I think I spend so much energy running around in circles instead of spending it on something that actually matters. I spent a lot of time updating my pipeline and trying to figure out what that should look like and how it connects with my funnel. There are a few different ways that I contact potential clients but I need to make sure that it's the most effective. I scheduled a lot of things out for tomorrow, tried to work for a little bit, but it was so slow. I had to go home. I need to get a few more clients so I can do this full-time. Today I feel really tired and I feel like I didn't get a whole lot done. I mean I did. But not anything that I can remember and anything that's super tangible. I'm getting frustrated because I feel like I should have added on another client by now. But I still have it. Things are getting, frustrating. Today I'm really tired. I'm running on like three hours of sleep and it's late at night. This is the only time that I can get caught up on work so here I am working. I'm having a hard time following my own train of thought because I'm so tired. Once I upload this video, I am going to bed. But one thing I thought about a lot today while I was talking was how much money I'm actually wasting. I'm usually pretty conscious about that. But as I make more money and get really busy, I have a hard time staying disciplined. I like where I'm going and I like the things that I'm working on but it gets really stressful because I feel like I need to spend a lot of money to buy the stuff that I need. I need some different tools. I need some different equipment. I need some different software and we typically spend a ton of money on things that we think will help us but the problem is us. The problem is always us and our dedication, but I'm trying to understand that break it apart. Today I went to a concert with a friend and didn't work as much as I thought I should. It was very important to go out and spend some time with people and get away from work for a bit. My friend is really smart and she can give me some great ideas and feedback on what i'm working on and where i'm going.

Today I thought long and hard about what I would need to do to make an extra $2000 a month. I'm on the fence about starting a podcast and paying a company to edit it and use their studio. I think it's worth it even if I'm spending a little bit more money. To make it work I need to find some extra money. I'm also trying to figure out how much I need so that I can quit my part-time job. I think I have a few clients that'll be adding in the next couple of days and bumping up my prices for my lower priced clients will be essential. Today I had a hard time sleeping and I woke up a couple of times before I wanted to. I got everything done from my morning to do list and then drop the motorcycle off. It's not running right, so I'm trying to get it fixed. My car is still not fixed so now I'm ubering around until one of them is fixed. I have a headache, I'm so tired, and I'm not sure if what I'm doing is working. But I spent all day on the phone, got a lot of really good ideas, and built some new connections. I might be able to add two or three new clients this month and that would help me out a ton. Sometimes it feels like everything's going right, and when that happens, it's usually a really quick flip to everything going wrong. So I'm preparing for that. Today was one of those days where everything went according to schedule. For the most part. Last week my coach encouraged me to set a schedule and get better with time blocking. And finally today I had that schedule lined out and I got everything done that I wanted to get done. I spent so much time on the phone but having the schedule made sure that I was aligned and made sure that I was spending my time on the right things. I used to schedule everything like a crazy person and then it just got so overwhelming. I think I was sick for a week and then, I quit doing it and then it was hard to get back on it. But it gives me confidence that I'll be able to keep doing this and keep up. I took a fairly long break while I set up the systems and got everything figured out with the SMMA business. And now I feel like I'm in a good spot to get back to these daily check-in and share my progress. Today I talk about some of the investments that I've made to scale my business at some of the systems that I'm setting up to make sure that when I add more clients, I don't lose quality. It's been so important for me to work and ask questions and learn from other people. I trust that the advice that I get will be good advice and if I find out it's bad advice I'm quick to change it. Either way I have a gold this month to add two more clients to my thousand dollar package and quit my serving job. I know that right now I'm in a good time and that all good times come to an end, but I'm trying to enjoy it and prepare for the bad times that are up ahead.

But a lot has happened over the last week, I really started hitting the SMA business hard. I reached out to a ton of people, and all of that hard work paid off because I'm pretty sure I just landed my first client. No it's for less than my goal price but I'm just going to start out with it learn as much as I can and make the most of it. I was honestly surprised that it was this easy. I thought I'd have to build a funnel build a website build a bunch of different things before it happe but ultimately, I just found where my potential customers are congregating I offered some value for them, and then I asked. There's also a lot of other moving pieces going on right now in my life. I'm moving into a new apartment. It's gonna cost me a lot more money, so I'm really stressed about that. Just trying to figure out what I'm gonna do over the next couple months to get my life together and get closer to my goal of 1 million.
