Every week we come across some big life questions, that often sparks a discussion between us, and we thought it was about time we let you in on some of these conversations. In these mini pods, we get honest and vulnerable with ourselves, each other and you our listeners as we pick a question and explore its possible answers together in a moment of truth. In this week’s episode we look at the work of Bronnie Ware, a palliative care nurse who recorded patients dying epiphanies in a blog called Inspiration and Chai. The most common regret of all was people realising how many of their dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people hadn’t honoured half of their dreams and had to die knowing it was because of choices they had/had not made. In this episode we welcome our guest, Gemma McWilliam who is an ex colleague and friend of ours. Gemma is here to share her fertility story with us. Gemma started her IVF journey back in 2018 and went through 11 rounds of IVF before finally getting pregnant with her beautiful son Harrison in 2021.She shares the heartbreak and devastation that so often comes with the IVF process, but also how the IVF community was such a huge support and comfort to her throughout.
