Her story is a powerful reminder of the strength that lies in acknowledging our challenges and actively working through them, rather than letting them define or limit us. This episode is not just about the successes and hurdles of a high-ranking executive in the sports industry; it's an exploration of resilience, mental health awareness, and the relentless pursuit of personal and professional growth. Welcome to another episode of the Rise Above Toxic Work Environment Series on the Game of Her Own podcast.  Today, we have a very special guest who will remain anonymous, but her story is no less powerful. With over 20 years of experience in the high-stakes world of sports and entertainment, she's here to share her journey through workplace challenges, self-doubt, and ultimately, empowerment. In today's episode, our guest opens up about a time in her career when she blamed herself for the negative actions of others. She shares her experiences of being bullied at work, a difficult time that led her to question, "What am I doing to make this person do this to me?" It's a question many of us may have asked ourselves in challenging situations, and her insights on this are both enlightening and deeply relatable. Our guest also discusses the invaluable role her support system played in helping her navigate through these tough times. The power of having a strong network of allies cannot be overstated, and her story provides a testament to this truth. A pivotal moment came when she realized she was being judged based on someone else's self-doubt, not her own abilities or worth. This realization acted as a catalyst for change, leading her to reassess her situation and values. She talks about her breaking point, a moment that many of us experience in our professional lives. But it was her strong values that set her on a different path, one that led her away from self-doubt and towards self-belief. Despite her resilience, she candidly shares how she started to doubt herself amidst these trials. Her honesty in discussing this common yet often unspoken feeling is both brave and empowering. Join us on this episode of Game of Her Own as we dive into these topics and more. Our guest's journey is a reminder of the strength that lies within us all, and the power of staying true to our values, even in the face of adversity. Listen in, be inspired, and remember - you're not alone in your game.   Free Resource | Empower Your Career: Mastering the Art of Advocacy for Promotions and Raises: https://rb.gy/3qpump   Connect with Jahaan:  Learn more about working with Jahaan and see if it’s the right fit for you: https://JahaanBlakeAppointmentScheduling.as.me/LetsTalk Join Jahaan's VIP Email List: https://bit.ly/3yccwAP  Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jahaanblake/ Email: jblake@jahaanblake.com Website: https://jahaanblake.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jahaanblake/   Music By:  Quanzaa
