This episode contains a conversation that took place at LA Comic Con in September 2025, remembering the career of the late Marvel Editor-In-Chief Jim Shooter who passed away earlier this year, with particular focus on one of his crowning achievements, the 12 issue "Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars", the conclusion of which was 40 years ago. The panel included Geekscape Book Club regulars Christian Bladt and Eric Conner, the Geekscape Supreme Intelligence, Jonathan London and also Katie Kawamoto (of "The Con Guy" and "The Con Girl"), Jordan Blum of Hulu's "MODOK" and Dark Horse's "Minor Threats", Gina Ippolito from New Rock Stars and Jeff Winstead ("The Alternate" and "The Last Battle of the Revolution: Daniel Boone and the War for American Independence on the Kentucky Frontier"). Unfortunately, this is not the first time that our Los Angeles Comic Con panel was not entirely recorded, so, Christian and Eric try to tie it all together with a summation of Secret Wars that was recorded after the fact.
