Hello creatures of the night, welcome back to Gem Mint Horror. Your favorite night radio show, I am your host Joel here to keep you insomniacs company while fighting off sleep. Now if this is your first time tuning into the show well here on Gem Mint Horror we talk about lesser known horror films in order to find you guys a new favorite horror movie. We don’t talk about big budget horror films or new releases on regular episodes. I usually aim for films that are lesser known or deserve a second chance because all films deserve that respect. Now we have finally made it to the Christmas season if you insomniacs celebrate it but for the whole month of December I will be recommending horror films that have those Christmas Undertones underneath them or just in the background. Films that you will love to add to your every year list around this season and films that you could watch while its snowing outside and you have your Christmas tree/lights on. Ahh isn’t that a nice setting I just describe and if your not a holly jolly person well at least they are horror films I am recommending haha now on with tonights episode, Tonight we are talking about a film that has a small following but definitely deserves more attention. That film is the 2021 video game adaptation of Werewolfs Within, directed by Josh Ruben and also staring Sam Richardson and Milana Vayntrub in this buddy horror film. Werewolfs Within is about a video game adaptation of a video game about Werewolfs attacking a small town. Let me know what you guys thought of the movie and the episode on the socials below, see you late night freaks next Friday !

Now since Thanksgiving is over and we are all ready to trample people over discounted electronics /appliances for Christmas all month Iong, figured what better film to recommend you than Casey Tebo’s Black Friday. Black Friday is about a group of toy store employees must protect each other from a horde of parasite infected shoppers. Yes basic back of the box but not for a basic movie because this film has captured the whole black friday holiday we have in the states. Now let me know what you guys think of the film and until next Friday insomniacs keep the good fight against the hat man.Follow Me:Instagram: @gem_mint_horror, https://www.instagram.com/gem_mint_horror/ Twitter: @GemHorror7, https://twitter.com/GemHorror7 Facebook Group: Gem Mint Horror, https://www.facebook.com/GemMintHorror Discord: https://discord.gg/dQ6vVkka5aAffilate Links: Buzzsprout: https://www.buzzsprout.com/?referrer_id=1808990Epidemic Sound: https://share.epidemicsound.com/4phlw4

We don’t talk about big budget horror films or new releases on regular episodes. I usually aim for films that are lesser known or deserve a second chance because all films deserve that respect. Tonights episode is on one of my favorite zombie films that I believe needs more viewers and that film is Yannick Dahan and Benjamin Rocher’s La Horde or in the states The Horde. The Horde is a foreign zombie film that is done well with gory and fear in the hot seat of this film. The actors in the film are what sell it and so is the location for this film, it is set in a high rise apartment build on the other side of the tracks so it is isolated and only one way out and is down. The Horde is about An end of the world battle between gangsters, cops and zombies. This film can only be watched on Plex for free with ads or rented in the states, trust me this film is worth your time and money and I would love to hear what you guys thought of this film. Let me know what you guys thought of this film, the show, other horror entertainment and more on the socials below ! Now for tonights episode we are talking about a film that until recent this recent year has had more viewers than ever and better praise. This is a film that is one of Stephen Kings best novellas and stand behind this film since I was a kid and it is The Mist. The Mist is about A freak storm unleashes a species of bloodthirsty creatures on a small town, where a small band of citizens hole up in a supermarket and fight for their lives. Now I hope the back of the box already intrigues you cause it did when I first saw the trailer for the film and explaining it to others. Now I would love to hear what you guys think about the film and this episode on the post on the instagram below ! until next time Insomniacs !Follow Me:Instagram: @gem_mint_horror, https://www.instagram.com/gem_mint_horror/ Twitter: @GemHorror7, https://twitter.com/GemHorror7 Facebook Group: Gem Mint Horror, https://www.facebook.com/GemMintHorror Discord: https://discord.gg/dQ6vVkka5aAffilate Links: Buzzsprout: https://www.buzzsprout.com/?referrer_id=1808990Epidemic Sound: https://share.epidemicsound.com/4phlw4

We don’t talk about big budget horror films or new releases on regular episodes. I usually aim for films that are lesser known or deserve a second chance because all films deserve that respect. Now tonights episode is a foreign Netflix original that I loved when I first saw it and after seeing it again for you guys believe it should be talked about again and if you were iffy about seeing it well now I am here to tell you to watch it. That film is Veronica and let me tell you this is one of those Netflix films that was made with so much care and passion behind it. Veronica is about a case in Madrid, 1991. A teen girl finds herself besieged by an evil supernatural force after she played Ouija with two classmates. This movie has a simple but interesting back of the box but its the execution of the film that makes this movie terrifying. This movie is directed by one of my favorite Spaniard directors Paco Plaza who if you haven't seen his other films watch them next ! I would love to hear what you guys thought of the episode and the film, Until next time Insomniacs, keep fighting off the nightmares.Follow Me:Instagram: @gem_mint_horror, https://www.instagram.com/gem_mint_horror/ Twitter: @GemHorror7, https://twitter.com/GemHorror7 Facebook Group: Gem Mint Horror, https://www.facebook.com/GemMintHorror Discord: https://discord.gg/dQ6vVkka5aAffilate Links: Buzzsprout: https://www.buzzsprout.com/?referrer_id=1808990Epidemic Sound: https://share.epidemicsound.com/4phlw4
Good evening, insomniacs of the night, welcome back to your late night radio show Gem Mint Horror, Staring courage haha no me Joel as I discuss a scene from lesser known horror films in order to find you guys a new favorite horror movie. Now this film is just a regular episode as I am saving the last Halloween episode on All Hallows Eve ! Tonights film is on more known as everyone knows the exorcist series but this is definitely one of my favorite one in the serious and deserves a second chance as reviews are half half and with newbies coming into the series I think this is a great one to start with and that film is The Last Exorcism. Now this film is about a troubled evangelical minister agrees to let his last exorcism be filmed by a documentary crew. Yes this film is a found footage film and wait hear me out I didn’t believe this film could have worked in this film style but believe me it works well. I hope you guys enjoyed the episode and enjoy the film, let me know your thoughts on the film and until next time insomniacs, keep fighting off sleep.Follow Me:Instagram: @gem_mint_horror, https://www.instagram.com/gem_mint_horror/ Twitter: @GemHorror7, https://twitter.com/GemHorror7 Facebook Group: Gem Mint Horror, https://www.facebook.com/GemMintHorror Discord: https://discord.gg/dQ6vVkka5aAffilate Links: Buzzsprout: https://www.buzzsprout.com/?referrer_id=1808990Epidemic Sound: https://share.epidemicsound.com/4phlw4
Good Evening Insomniacs, welcome back to another late night episode of Gem Mint Horror. If you have been listening this whole month of October you know that it is our first annual Halloween Special, what makes it special well all the films we are doing a show on for this month are set on the holiday for halloween. Yes we are giving you films to fuel your nightmares all month long and I hope you enjoy watching these recommendations but please please don’t blame us for the lack of sleep. Now if you are a new listener Gem Mint Horror is a show that centers around lesser known horror films in order to find you guys a new favorite horror movie. I am your host WolfMan Joel cause I idolize Wolf man Jack baby, Now tonights episode is on a film that I think is perfect since we are nearing Halloween is a movie that has the perfect balance of horror and comedy ! Did I mention it was Found Footage and fits the criteria of this show ? Yes yes although this film was just released this month on October 6th I feel more people need to watch it and that film is Deadstream !!! Deadstream is directed by a husband and wife duo Joesph Winter and Vanessa Winter, while Joesph is the main star of the film and I am surprised I have never heard of them before since they are so talented. Deadstream is about an internet personality tries to win back followers by live-streaming himself in a haunted house, simple back of the box and I love it. This is what the whole film is about and I always say the simpler horror films are usually the best. I hope you guys watch this film and you can do so on AMC or shudder, thanks for giving this show a listen. Remember insomniacs, there is a horror film you never heard of and I'm going to present it to you, to make it your new favorite horror movie until next Friday, try to keep up the good fight against our nightmares.Follow Me:Instagram: @gem_mint_horror, https://www.instagram.com/gem_mint_horror/ Twitter: @GemHorror7, https://twitter.com/GemHorror7 Facebook Group: Gem Mint Horror, https://www.facebook.com/GemMintHorror Discord: https://discord.gg/dQ6vVkka5aAffilate Links: Buzzsprout: https://www.buzzsprout.com/?referrer_id=1808990Epidemic Sound: https://share.epidemicsound.com/4phlw4

I am your host WolfMan Joel cause I idolize Wolf man Jack baby, Now tonights episode is one of those rare films that swept a nation under terror and it happened on halloween night so come and join me as we discuss one of the best ways to change someones beliefs haha. So insomniacs tonights episode is about the 1992 BBC special Ghostwatch where BBC traumatized the nation. Let me know what you thought of the special and Ghostwatch, if you were one who witness this or have a story of a family member who did write in, would love to read it. Until next time and don't forget about the bonus episode I uploaded on the monthly new release films I've seen in the month of September.Follow me :Instagram: @gem_mint_horrorTwitter: @GemHorror7Facebook Group: Gem Mint HorrorDiscord: https://discord.gg/dQ6vVkka5a

Good Evening, welcome to the first annual Halloween Special of Gem Mint Horror. What makes it a halloween special well we are going to be discussing about films that center around the holiday and for tonights film its call Haunt. Now This film is another movie that just screams out the love for the holiday. Now Haunt is about On Halloween night, a group of friends encounter an "extreme" haunted house that promises to feed on their darkest fears. The night turns deadly as they come to the horrifying realization that some nightmares are real. Yes this is a simple horror film and if you are a long time listener of the show you will know that simple is scary haha. I love this film a lot and think that the description is good enough to peak someones interest so I would suggest you guys go watch the film first then come back to hear the scene I choose for the best viewing experience but if you are one to stick the show first, well I hope I do it enough justice to convince you to watch it. Haunt can be streamed with an AMC + or Shudder subscription and guys if you want to let me know what your thoughts were on the film or episode follow me down below were we can talk all things horror. Good Evening, welcome to the first annual Halloween Special of Gem Mint Horror. What makes it a halloween special well we are going to be discussing about films that center around the holiday and for tonights episode we have one of my favorites and a cult favorite in the horror community Trick r Treat. Now for those of you new tuning in at this late hour welcome, here on gem mint horror we talk about lesser known horror films in order to find you guys a new favorite horror movie. This show is made for those who love horror films or a newbie who needs help on where to start when watching horror films. The way I do it is by doing a scene of the movie to peak enough interest for you guys to go watch it and then talk about why this film is worth it haha. Now Trick r Treat is about Five interwoven stories that occur on Halloween: An everyday high school principal has a secret life as a serial killer; a college virgin might have just met the guy for her; a group of teenagers pull a mean prank; a woman who loathes the night has to contend with her holiday-obsessed husband; and a mean old man meets his match with a demonic, supernatural trick-or-treater. Now if that doesn’t peak your interest do you even love halloween ? I really like this film and love that this film intertwines the stores so well and for tonight I will do one of the stories with little set up just to get into it. I would love to hear what you think about this film so follow me on the socials below so we can connect more and discuss all thing horror, see you late night insomniacs next Friday night, your favorite radio jockey, Wolfman Joel.Follow me :Instagram: @gem_mint_horrorTwitter: @GemHorror7Facebook Group: Gem Mint HorrorDiscord: https://discord.gg/dQ6vVkka5a
Welcome back to the late night horror show, GEM MINT HORROR I am you host Joel here to give you insomniacs some company at these late hours and fuel your nightmares with tales of lesser known horror films in order to find you guy a new favorite horror film. On tonights episode we talk about one of my favorite westerns Bone Tomahawk and for those who don't know what this film is about I suggest watching it first then listening to the episode because this film is so good ! Bone Tomahawk is about the dying days of the old west, an elderly sheriff and his posse set out to rescue their town's doctor from cannibalistic cave dwellers. Now if that doesn't interest you well I hope my episode does, I want to know what you guy think about this film and if you like the whole western/horror mixing together because I personally do. I think more films should be set during the wild Wild West like Will Smiths film but a horror film, haha just kidding but I do like the idea of more western horror films. Let me know what your thoughts were after watching it or all things horror, follow my socials down below to stay connected ! you guys have a great night and try not to have any nightmares.Follow me :Instagram: @gem_mint_horrorTwitter: @GemHorror7Facebook Group: Gem Mint HorrorDiscord: https://discord.gg/dQ6vVkka5a

On tonights episode we are discussing the 1989 cult slasher film Intruder. Intruder is about an overnight stock crew of a local supermarket find themselves being stalked and slashed by a mysterious maniac. This is one of my favorite slashers and hope you tune in as I do a scene from the film and talk about why the film is so good. I will catch you insomniacs on next Friday nights episode and try not to have too many nightmares with this one, I mean its only a super market haha.Follow me :Instagram: @gem_mint_horrorTwitter: @GemHorror7Facebook Group: Gem Mint HorrorDiscord: https://discord.gg/dQ6vVkka5a
Welcome back to the late night horror show, GEM MINT HORROR (add sound) I am you host Joel here to give you insomniacs some company at these late hours and fuel your nightmares with tales of lesser known horror films in order to find you guy a new favorite horror film. So come around the radio and listen tonights horror feature if you dare. More than 600,000 people going missing annually in the united states, some are found and some are not so lucky. I know it is a lot of peoples fear to have one person in their lives go missing and in tonights episode we will be discussing a film that deals with that fear and this film is one of those unsettling films that makes you feel a certain way after watching. Now this film is a found footage film that is styled as a documentary as some in this sub genre do and I like that for horror films but this film does it so right. The film I am talking about is Joel Andersons Lake Mungo, now I have seen that this film has been getting recommended around the horror community and I am happy about that because this film does deserve the praise. This film is streamable on Tubi and rent on all streaming services ! let me know what you guys think of the film on the socials below.Follow me :Instagram: @gem_mint_horrorTwitter: @GemHorror7Facebook Group: Gem Mint HorrorDiscord: https://discord.gg/dQ6vVkka5a
Hey there guys, Welcome back to your favorite late night radio show Gem Mint Horror ! Im your host Joel and on this show for those new Insomniacs tuning in we talk about lesser known horror films in order to find you guys a new favorite horror movie ! Now lesser known can be subjective because this show is for horror fans and those who love movies and want to start watching horror films but don’t know where to start. We do not talk about bigger name films like The Conjuring, The Exorcist, Insidious, or Sinister on the regular episodes only on bonus episodes, we normally talk about films that have 60% on rotten tomatoes or under that are worth your time or maybe worth a second chance because there are always hidden gems of horror films that don’t have the best rating or stars but are better than big budget horror films. On tonights episode we are talking about a film that made me and most of my family want to own a gun that movie is Bryan Bertino’s 2008 home invasion film The Strangers ! This film stars Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman as our main protagonist who are being terrorized by a group of three masked people and make their night a missable hell. Now I hope you guys like this film and like the episode, like always let me know what you guys think about it on the socials below !Follow me :Instagram: @gem_mint_horrorTwitter: @GemHorror7Facebook Group: Gem Mint HorrorDiscord: https://discord.gg/dQ6vVkka5a
Hey there guys, Welcome back to your favorite late night radio show Gem Mint Horror !Im your host Joel and on this show for those new Insomniacs tuning in we talk about lesser known horror films in order to find you guys a new favorite horror movie ! Ahhh Paris the city of love, what most people don’t know is about the 186 mile catacombs that house a labyrinth of tunnels housing old bones from the transfer of bones from the parochial cemeteries of Paris. Now there are a bunch of creepy pastas and first hand encounters of things going bump in the night down in those tunnels. That is what happens in tonights episode on the controversial film in the horror community but I am here to convince you that this film is worth your time and that film is John Erick Dowdle’s As Above so Below. This is a found footage film that was released in 2014 and I remember liking it when I first saw this movie and I know this film is talked about in the horror community but I have heard some bad things about it so it might discourage newbies to horror to look over it but I am here to tell you to watch it. This show is about lesser known horror films but as well as films that I deem need a second chance, almost like a film going back to the picture show haha. As Above so Below is When a team of explorers ventures into the catacombs that lie beneath the streets of Paris, they uncover the dark secret that lies within this city of the dead. Now that is a pretty straight forward synopsis for this film and I like it because it tells you what its about and I think with that you can decide if you want to watch it. I will say currently this film is only rentable on streaming services like VUDU, Apple TV, Prime Video, and anywhere that offers digital rentals but it is worth the money to rent. I hope you guys love the episode and enjoy watching this film ! see you late night freaks next Friday night !Follow me :Instagram: @gem_mint_horrorTwitter: @GemHorror7Facebook Group: Gem Mint HorrorDiscord: https://discord.gg/dQ6vVkka5a
Hey there guys, Welcome back to your favorite late night radio show Gem Mint Horror !Im your host Joel and on this show for those new Insomniacs tuning in we talk about lesser known horror films in order to find you guys a new favorite horror movie ! How many of you guys want to travel the world or even do a road trip in a new country with your favorite people ? I know its a dream of mine to do a road trip around all of Iceland one day and other beautiful places in our great big world but what would you do if your stranded and you have to trust the only person for miles. I know for those social people out there its probably no doubt you’ll accept the help but for those who overthink things or fear of not knowing the stranger, would you accept the help ? In tonights film we follow a group of friends on a trip who are relying on a stranger who is offering his generous help but looks a little sketchy. The film I am talking about is Greg McLean’s 2005 film Wolf Creek, this is one of those hidden gem slashers that I think deserves more attention mostly cause it is set int he outback and I think we should have more horror films set there. I mean imagine a tremors film set there haha would be crazy but in Wolf Creek the film is about three backpackers stranded in the Australian outback are plunged inside a hellish nightmare of insufferable torture by a sadistic psychopathic. Now I hope you guys enjoy this late night episode and enjoy Wolf Creek ! let me know what you guys thought about the film or the episode on the socials below and ill see you late night insomniacs next Friday for more tells of horror.Follow me :Instagram: @gem_mint_horrorTwitter: @GemHorror7Facebook Group: Gem Mint HorrorDiscord: https://discord.gg/dQ6vVkka5a
Hey there guys, Welcome back to your favorite late night radio show Gem Mint Horror !Im your host Joel and on this show for those new Insomniacs tuning in we talk about lesser known horror films in order to find you guys a new favorite horror movie ! On tonights episode we are talking about a film that makes me even more terrified of Alaska and no it is not about aliens or Omnis for those Spanish speaking listeners out there. The film for tonights episode is David Slade’s 2007 Vampire horror film Eyes Wide Shut haha no I am kidding I am talking about 30 Days of night ! I love this movie and I hope you guys do after seeing it and if you have seen it well I hope we share somewhat of the same opinion because this is by far my favorite vampire film. Now this film is about After an Alaskan town is plunged into darkness for a month, it is attacked by a bloodthirsty gang of vampires.
