Today we begin a new teaching series focusing on the value of having our faith challenged by fresh encounters with God so that we can overcome the threat of complacency and gain a deeper revelation of God’s purposes in our lives. For the Apostle Paul this meant having to rethink everything his religious training had taught him.
In a world that tries to form your identity we take a look at the writings of 1 Peter to see how God sees us and how our identity needs to be shaped by His identity of us.
As we learn to experience the love of God at ever-deeper levels, we are called to then express this same agape love to others within the community of faith. In this teaching we learn how loving others in this way brings glory to God and reflects his esteem for humanity.
God is love. This clear teaching of Scripture is sometimes hard for us to grasp because we generally think of love in terms of emotions and actions. But love is the very essence of who God is. In this teaching we learn what it means to experience God in this way, and the great possibilities it opens up for us to then live in this love.
Our mouth is a powerful tool. It has the power to speak life and the power to speak death. Looking at the life of Jesus we are encouraged to speak like Jesus spoke.
Using Paul’s public proclamation on Mars Hill in Athens we discuss God's plan for those who are far from Him and how we as a church can help fulfill that plan.
Of all the things God desires for us to experience in our relationship with Him, the greatest is His love. The Apostle Paul says that all God’s people should have the power to know how long, wide, high and deep God’s love really is. In this teaching we will learn about that power and the life-transforming difference that it makes.

As Generation Church goes through its upcoming transition, all of us can learn and grow by expanding our ideas of who God is and what He has for us.
Pastor Alex and Raquel Penduck address the most FAQs about what GC will look like in early 2020. Then Pastor Alex speaks on how as Christians we know that following Jesus means doing good unto others. However, so often that good stops at the people we feel comfortable and familiar with. Through this sermon we challenge you to think beyond your circle of influence and do good to those people who others are not willing to be good toward.
Pastor Alex speaks about what lies ahead for Generation Church in the beginning of 2020.

People are drawn to the amazing. When we see things we can't quite understand our minds find it hard to comprehend. The earlier disciples found themselves the center of attention in Jerusalem for the amazing things that were happening in their community. As a result of the Holy Spirit their town was turned upside down. Through this sermon we discover how the Holy Spirit works in us and empowers us to live amazing lives that change our communities.

Wonder: Ah-ha!

Have you ever had an 'Ah-ha!' moment when suddenly you felt a light was switched on in your head? Spiritual 'Ah-ha' moments are written all over the Bible. As we continue our Wonder series we look at Jesus' teaching on the Sabbath to pray that God will give us some spiritual 'Ah-ha' moments.
It’s a wonder how God is so good to us! He continually demonstrates his love for us by leading us into the place of blessing. But he never coerces or forces us to go there. Instead he challenges our faith, asking us to trust him and respond with obedience. In this teaching, we see how responding to God’s faithfulness with our own faithfulness puts us right where we want to be.
