Dapper Boi is a San Diego-based body-inclusive apparel line founded in 2015 by married couple Vicky and Charisse Pasche. The Pasche’s are partners in business and life, managing to raise twin preschoolers without going (completely) gray. The vision for Dapper Boi was conceived on their honeymoon, born from Vicky’s challenges as a handsome woman with curves searching for clothes that fit her body and authentic expression. With an industry-disrupting commitment to inclusion, affirmation, and quality, their celebrated clothing business went from a crowdfunded passion project to a seven-figure company in five years. Over the last eight years they have generated $4M in sales with a customer base of over 30,000 people from all genders, sizes and body types, and with an unheard of repeat customer rate of 51%. Less than 2% of VC money goes to women and less than 2% of women-owned businesses generate over $1M in annual revenue. Dapper Boi continues to defy all odds: they are in the top 10% of all Shopify stores and have been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, countless media, and soon some incredible publications and documentaries. Dapper Boi is a gender-welcoming, everyday clothing line with smart, down-to-earth vibes for people of all body types. They are proud to make people feel comfortable and confident in their own skin by offering quality, stylish clothes with a unique fit. In today's episode of Get Carried Away, Carrie Murray and Esther Shpitalnik talk about the three common excuses that cause people stagnation. Do you also find yourself in situations where you know you want the change but just can't seem to get there? Here, Esther discusses the ways to change your relationship with money, how you can take yourself more seriously, and about a survey that reveals why some women struggle climbing the corporate ladder. In this episode you will learn:·        The pandemic is a wakeup call for a lot of people·        Calendar-ing your life is essential to success·        Why money language is crucial·        The Glassbox Analogy·        How to approach a job qualification or a promotionAbout Esther Shpitalnik: Esther launched her coaching business at the height of the pandemic because she believes that if she can get through THIS, then she can get through anything. Esther used to believe that she can't / won't / shouldn't be a coach because what will others think / she doesn't have enough experience. Then, in a pivotal conversation, a friend said to her, "Esther, you've failed plenty of times. What are you so afraid of?" It was then that Esther realized she wasn't afraid of failure; she was afraid of success, of the change it would bring, and that she'd have to leave her comfort zone to get to the success she knew she was meant to be. Since then, Esther vowed that she would do the things that scare the crap out of her because they are the things that will make bring growth. Esther's core life mantras are "To thine own self be true" and "Be audacious," both of which I learned in high school English class. Her core life values are positivity, creativity, and independence. When Esther is living up to these mantras and values, her life is in flow. When she is neglecting them, it's like I'm swimming upstream with weights on my ankles. Catch up with Esther Shpitalnik: Website:         https://www.es-esq.com/LinkedIn:        https://www.linkedin.com/in/estherkshpitalnik/Instagram:      https://www.instagram.com/es_esq/?hl=en A Survey for Women in the Work Force:https://survey.hsforms.com/1t2WvyyQgRVOJTuG4xXdUyA2itv5    Hosted on Acast.
