We are diving into the customized experiences that make up New Student Orientation! It is no secret that no two students are alike. Because of this, our team looks for the moments where students and families can get the specific information they want, and find the right fit at USC. A lot of this work comes in handy with our specialized academic populations. This three-part series will share information on the Honors College, Capstone Scholars, TRIO Opportunity Scholars programs, as well as Veterans and Military Affairs and how they show up during your Orientation.

Leena Holt (Parent and Family Programs) and Alison Leach Hughes (New Student Orientation) join us to discuss their experiences working with families and supporters, what they can expect during Orientation and what makes being a Gamecock family so special.
Jennifer sits down with Jared Logan (Assistant Director of Orientation Logistics) to share information regarding how to prepare for New Student Orientation and what to expect. They also set the program goal for Gamecock Pantry donations!

We love our transfer students and are so excited to welcome them to campus each year! We wanted to spend time discussing what they can expect during New Student Orientation, as well as some of the resources for success South Carolina has for this student population. Kimberly Dressler from the Student Success Center gets us up to speed!

This week, graduate assistants Jonathan Moss and Noah Sheridan join us on the mic to define a few of the common terms you may hear on campus at South Carolina.
